    The CTF Sing-Off is a karaoke contest between CTF players, and Season 3 is in planning! Since the hosts and majority of participants are based in US time, we will schedule accordingly. Hopefully some pre-planning can make this event go as smoothly as possible. The date has not been selected yet.

    Aside from participants, which @gamren will have an official registration thread up for later, we're going to need some people assisting in running this event. We will need (limited amounts of):

    - Announcer(s)
    - (very limited) Judges
    - Live stream host, Twitch preferred
    - Chat controller and typed intros for singers
    - Additional recorders
    - Instrumental interlude during setups
    - Assistant director to keep schedule flow
    - Donators for prizes

    If you are interested in helping run or providing anything else for the contest, please post or contact one of us (@gamren @Xelasi). We will have a process for assigning these positions. Having alternates is preferable in case of schedule conflict. The contest is expected to run 2+ hours.

    Discord is probally better because you can mute people instead of some people who are on unmute x)

    Judging, recording, etc. I can also set up a TeamSpeak3 server just for this occasion. I believe TeamSpeak would be easier in this case due to the channel-like system of permissions. We can follow a roster of who is next up on the performance list and give them permission to speak (moderators will already have permission) anyone who wants to listen will be able to but they will not have speaking privileges. In your videos, I noticed that some contestants were interrupted and it really annoyed me, so I believe it would be in our best interest to avoid that for the future.

    So the tasks I am able to perform are as follows:
    • Announcer
    • Additional recorders
    • Donators for prizes
    • Live stream host, Twitch preferred
    • Hosting a private Teamspeak3 service for this event. (I would like some advance notice if this is the software we want to use. )

    Personally I can help with judging or I can just sing (or I can play my french horn like a boss). I personally listen and enjoy more classical and jazz music and less pop music. So if you want a musical guy yes I am that.
