@Lugia_ I can speak to the people who own the maze code, doubt they would but I know who they are.

 

Description / Objective:
Mods would occasionally make fun maps different from your typical CTF map format and host a fun event with 'em.

Where and how it happened:
As mentioned previously in this thread, one such event involving a special CTF map was Quar's maze map. Another fun event map is Capture by Pavocado (BID: 30398). The theme around Capture is that one team plays exclusively defense, while the other plays exclusively offence. The defensive side is built in the defending team's favor.

Yeaahhhh, the only events ik of are Flag Runner, the Sing-Offs, the tourneys and a 24-hour-call that happened long long ago, in a galaxy far far away.

Name: Treasure Hunt

Description / Objective: basically there were these riddles/hints where we'd have to find the answers to

Where and how it happened: (I vaguely remember how this went so I might be wrong but) the riddles had hints that led to certain maps and you'd have to find a sign on that map that would lead you to the next little riddle and the answer to that riddle was the map's name

as an example, here's a screenshot from when Tenshi and I tried exchanging answers to help each other out

Where and how it happened: on this really b4d game called mcctf

 

Players used to host a lot of events, and some even have maps for them. CTF maze, Offense vs. Defense match, No instakills match, All instakills match, class specific matches, Holiday events, and the All star match are a few examples.

 

I left that group and won xd
But yeah I was going to list that on the this thread as well that was probably my favorite mcpvp memory
