Outro the quiet musings of the forums dragon

Hey guys. Nice to talk to you again. I don't want to talk about the EULA or how brawl is going down in a ball of fire. That's not how I want to approach this thread

I just wanted to say thanks for everything.

I discovered Minecraft back in it's post-alpha/pre-beta phase and fell in love. Played in survival for a while. Joined a community in multiplayer for the first time about a year later.

It died quickly. I was upset, I didn't come back for another year.

I got attached to a new community, which died to in-fighting and admin abuse. That one went down in a blaze of glory.

So I hopped servers for a while, settling here and there and not finding much.

Factions held me over until my faction of sixty was raided of all it's goods again for the one hundredth time. I wish I was exaggerating.

I was done, I quit. Everything about multiplayer was crap, the communities of Minecraft were all cancer and to hell with whoever thought otherwise.

Then I found McBrawl. Not too large, not too small. It was just right.

Played some mc-war for a while, learned some things, and joined the forums. I said some pretty stupid stuff and almost got myself to the point of quietly leaving to embarrassment. Thanks to some touching words of encouragement I stayed.

Now here I am almost four years later with only a few forum friends to show for it. But I don't care. I might be a mediocre member at best, with some history here and there. Some stupid stories. But guys it's been a hell of a run and I'm honored to have spent it with you.

I won't be continuing gameplay, but the forums are too close to me to leave.

I'll be around.

It's been a privlage to have stumbled across this community by accident. I can't thank you enough.

I might hop in every once and a while, but I've really just found that brawl has outlived my interest. I have only love and respect for everyone I've met here and a slew of good times, but in the end, after four year, I'm just tired. Not just of brawl but Minecraft in general.

 

Of course I will. I'm just having difficulties getting good work out and keep starting my work over.
