Let's face it, dwarves are not made for capping.

First, let's see what you need for capping:

    1: Gamesense
    2: Coordination
    3; Marginal PvP/Pearl skills
    4: Mobility

Now let's look at dwarf's stats:

Very decent armor. (Diamond chest/legs, chain helm/boots)
Hey, that's pretty good! A good capping class needs gud armer!

Very kill-'em-all sword that can get even better.
Looking even better, gotta kill zem all when I rekt their faces.

Harmful potion and fire resist at level five.
    I'll be EENVEEENSIBEL

Power to reduce all damage at the cost of XP
No comment. I didn't even know this was in the game.

Slowness 2, no dash, has to crouch to charge sword.
Um... oh... if he's got no mobility then why even post a thread about an action that requires mobility?

Well, good thing you asked, random italicized self-written text! I've got just the guide.

The following are pretty much necessary for your dwarf-capping ventures to succeed.

Requirement 1: A willing and competent team

Let's face it, a dwarf is pretty vulnerable alone by himself in the midfield. Even if you get a few kills, you'll be so slow that if you get hit and knocked back you can't easily retaliate. A team that will support you, move you, and buff you makes sure that you can get in and get out with the flag. You may be able to slowly get to their base and kill 1 or two people guarding the flag, but without team support, you'll be chipped away fast by ninjas and assassins.

Requirement 2: Medics or an offensively holding team

Ok, so you're inside the enemy lines. You only have three steaks, so you can't take too much damage. You can try to counter by blocking (which reduces damage to half-heart at the cost of XP), but, eventually, the other team will overwhelm you like pyrosharks on 2-fort. A medic is a godsend and will keep you alive as you crawl to and from the enemy base, and an offensive team will most likely surround you and protect you, or an offensive engie base provides cover and heals.

    Requirement 3: Indirect route

Everone's afraid of guys with shiny swords coming directly at them. If you take a direct route to get to the enemy half, I guarantee the moment you're spotted you become the center of attention. Taking a route where you're not exposed and can continue charging your sword, which is vital to the success of the mission, ensures your survival. The best map for this is probably lowrise, as you can stay underground where nobody goes, and get to the flag through and indirect route.

    Requirement 4: A Charged sword

A dwarf is nothing without his sword, and you're going to need that slapping stick of diamond to get people off your back. The knockback, sharpness, and fire keeps enemies away and gone. I recommend sharpness enough to kill a ninja in one hit, as they are going to be on of your worst enemies.

Follow these requirements and you should be able to get that flag very easily as the loveable cuddly dwarf

The following aren't necessary for success, but greatly help the effort.

    1: Engineers

    Everyone knows it.
Dwarves speed shuts him off from offense, so lets remove 80% of the journey! An engineer can place down a teleport and instantly put a dwarf on the offensive and cover him with his turret and provide health with regen. Just be aware of archers, as they will murder both you and your engine companion. I would put engineers in the "Necessary category, due to the insane help they provide, but you can make the trip without one.

    2: Chemists

A wise man once said, "Hey, let's make dwarf stronger and faster!" He was then ripped apart by the entire CTF community and no trace of him was left. Well, chemist does just that to the dwarf! Strength+Speed I pots make dwarf faster and stronger which not only gets you to the enemy faster, but also makes sure you're ready to kill each and every one of them. Coupled with support with health potions, chemists can make dwarves literally tanks.

    3: Determination
Without a large pool of determination, you're going to have a bad time [Insert Undertale meme here]. It is more than likely you will get focused down and die, or killed on the retreat, or simply just die and loose hard earned levels. Also, there is the fact that dwarf moves incredibly, insanely, fathomably slow, so it's not the most rewarding and exciting endeavor at first. Just keep on keeping on and don't give up on your dreams.

The following with severely interfere with your attempts to capture the flag as dwarf

    1: Assassins

ALRIGHT!, After 12 minutes you made it to the enemy flag and back, you are level 20 and murdering everyone. You see that holy light illuminating your flag as you crawl to it... crawl... soo close... then - BAM!
Ded. Assassins will make you lose all your hard earned progress in a fraction of a second and make you rage quit then and there. All I can say is be only your guard and know how to block.

    2: Ninjas

Being blind with telescope vision is not the most pleasant experience in the world. Coupled with their high damage and mobility to chip you away makes this a very mosquito-ish class to deal with, however, being a mosquito, you can just swat them.

    3: Mage/Archer/Elf

The reason I put these three together is that they hold a dwarf's Achille's Hell: Range. Why engage in combat when you can stand back and ping 'em back. Not being able to fight back is awful, because that's the main part of an offensive dwarf. Archers are notably more dangerous because they hold an almost unblockable instakill mechanic, and you are an extremely immobile class. Nuff said. Elves have pure element, which ignores all your armor and wears you away very fast, a counter to fire aspect, and ability to push you/themselves away. Earth doesn't really affect dwarves all that much, tho. Mages hold more of a constant chip power and can slow down a dwarf even more, making them extremely annoying.

Follow these guidelines and I guarantee that you will be capping flags in... oh, I dunno... 10 minutes? (Get an engine to help you with that)

Good thread, 10/101. Would meme again.
You seem to have forgotten a few things.

A team of 2 engineers, 1/2 medics and 1 chemist should be more than enough to help you cap. The first engineer sets up a teleporter to take you to the enemy base while the second engineer sets up a teleporter to take you back to the base safely. Both engineers have to protect their respective entrances, of course. The medic/s, as you have stated, will help you get inside the enemy flagroom, alongside the chemist buffing and fighting with you.
This, of course, requires a little amount of teamwork and coordination but you can pretty much cap under 3 minutes or less if executed correctly.
If you want to cap even faster without even flinching just get a ninja to steal the flag for you, or any other class honestly. Ninja is the best choice since it is the fastest class in the game.

You forgot that elves can screw you over, too. They can knock you around as much as mages and archers and they can chew through your health pretty fast too.
I believe that you can block headshots. If you do, you lose all your XP level, leaving you vulnerable to another headshot.

    Hope these help you out.

@IvanDoomy Noice planning, I like it. That seems to be the most efficient way to get a dwarf in and out. Having another dwarf along for the ride makes it even better. The best situation I've been in is 2 dwarves, 2 medics, and chemist buffs, and the other team got razed. I have yet to get a duo engie transport, but that saves so much time.

This is for the weak-necked dwarves who fear to leave the safety of their base. This guide is for the TRUE Mountain-Born iron skin sharp bladed no fear maximum power master forging extremely vigilant very-dangerous-over-short-distances dwarves who fear not to run to the enemy and capture their flag themselves.

True. Noted and added. I'm reeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaally not experienced with elf at all :stuck_out_tongue:

1000XP tho, any meh archer can keep it up.

They did indeed. Thanks for tanks.
