Is assassin 4 noobs?

I understand people say Assassin requires no skill, but you have to know how to fake an assassinate to get them to unblock.

A few people that do this relatively well are @gamren @Owlykat and @HatedOne_

 

Assassin ez to play, learn, and instakill unbalanced. Overal good ping= good assassin. Imo not a noob class like dwarf but is a class in need of major work

 

I'm my book, it is not. Yes its a one hit kill, but if your against someone who is familiar with the class, then you need to use strategy. Chilled_92 was a specialist in this field

Overall assassin is pretty easy, although chemist is very good against it, and I would like to think soldier is alright aswell. Just look around your surroundings and watch out for corner huggers. Most assassins will just jitter and wait for you to steak/unblock, usually assassins that know what they are doing will never go in for a direct assassination (First hit). So just combo them up, takes 3 hits as most classes.

Anyways, I myself don't have the legendary ping that everyone believes I do. I used to get 7-14 on the TX servers, now I get 60-150.

Just focus and play smart around assassins, it's a mind game.

 

depends on the assassin. As with most classes, there's definitely a way in which assassins can play without any skill. There are others that are very good at what they do ( @gamren ) and that does take considerable skill.

 

I agree with just about everyone who replied here. There are people who use Assassin that make it took like it takes no skill, but it does based on the reasons people have already stated.

 

Assassin is somewhat easy to learn cause u just click but you have to have spent time and have gotten good in order to be a good assassin and get then pro clutch mlg 360 no-scope recoves.

If you just kill farm as assassin u r noob

 

Based on the official definition, no. Assassin does not require skill. People can practice and become skilled with assassin, but it does not require you to be a master to use it. Is assassin for noobs? No, it's for people who bought the ****ing class. (When you realize we've basically been using the word skill wrong for the past 4 years, the question should be "does this class require practice to become skilled?" Not "does this class require skill?")

 

Haha @gamren jokes on u i rarely archer anymore. Ive realized how unbalanced of a class it is.

Just because I feel a class is stupid dosent mean i cant play it. I play to challenge myself and become better at archer vs archer combat. This is an assassin thread so plz lets keep it on topic. Assassin like archer is fairly easy and a little unbalanced

 

Just because you think ur op at it doesn't mean u r. I always thought I was really good at pvp until I saw some peeps on here. Also tbh this thread is pointless.

 

I think the class is designed for people who want to take out on target actually. But besides the point, no, assassin was not designed with noobs in mind.
