    The [Old] Capture The Flag Discord Thread​
    Last year I had created a small thread attempting to get members of the CTF Community to join a discord server to try and move on from Skype. The going was slow, after a while the server was a dead muffin until it picked up a lot of steam fast. We have finally become an active server with plenty of people to meme around with on a daily basis.
    What is Discord?
    Discord is a voice and text chat client akin to teamspeak but much more user friendly and visually pleasing. Discord has the benefit of also having a browser version of itself, which means no download is required. The CTF Discord is a casual server that consists of people socialising and playing video games. We also have a Bot that can play music but the current stability of that Bot is being worked on.

    What are the Rules?
    This Discord chat has no official affiliation with Brawl, so any quarrels that occur will be handled in any way the Managers deem fit, we do not abide by any concrete code besides common sense. Any existing CTF Moderator is automatically given the Manager role to keep the peace, whatever they deem a fit punishment or rule is fair game. We are definitely less strict than Brawls in-game rules and are closer to MCPVPs rules.
    Roles
    Roles give people various permissions, on the CTF server the ones that matter consist of:
    Member: Allows you to talk in nearly every chat
    Member+: Can kick players that are being disruptive and mute them in Voice Channels
    Manager: Able to manage nicknames, ban players, and make announcements.
    Manager+: Has every permission.

    How do I join?
    First, you need to make an account (for our server your account needs a verified email). Once that is done, you can join using this link:
    You wont have the Member role immediately, so please be patient with us.

    Discord is better than TS and Skype combined. To all Brawlers who are reluctant to leave TS behind, trust me, give this a chance. Its much better.

    To be fair, there's a lot of people online all the time.

    But there's a lot of sh*tposting, which I guess is exactly what you should expect from CTF'ers!

    But yeah, join discord bros, it's a riot.
