    In order
    2. Necro
    1. Engineer
    3. Chemist without sword
    4. Fashionista (If you master fashionista u are the stimpy of ctf)
5 dwarf (fair enough you do need a bit of attention for this one)

Joking apart, what do you guys think are the best classes to improve pvp in ctf?

Heavy and medic are your only true choices.
Look at people like byz. He plays heavy and he destroys Everything.

yes, byz is a good player, but those are just classes that are good for pvp, what i'm focusing on is classes that improve your pvp techniques such as aim strafe attentivity etc

Play ninja for combo practice and play heavy for strafing practice. Never play mage if you want to be good at pvp

Ninja is good cause speed makes it easy. Heavy is good because of all the health it has.

Ninja is probably the best way to learn how to aim/strafe (very punishing, miss one hit and you're basically f'd). Otherwise, go on badlion or kitpvp and practice there. Ctf isn't exactly a place to practice straightup pvp; there are too many variables, the classes are to diverse.

legitimately no one is skilled in pvp because its all ping based. Byzantine gets like 10ms so hes going to hit you 3+ times before you hit him once. It all matters on ping and what class. If you have godly ping like byzantine, you can easily kill a dwarf or heavy as ninja.

This is incorrect. I get 20-35 ping and yet I'm trash at pvp. I am constantly killed by EU players who have 3 times my ping and it's because they can outstrafe and combo me.

This is true. I have 18 ping, yet I'm some buttcheeks at pvp; our good friend matt is a straight up legend.

fine, if you dont absolutely suck at pvp and have godly ping then you can destroy people, but its not a good pvper, its a good strafer and comboer, the better ping the more hits you can pull off.

Back to the topic hand, I say mage is the best pvp class. You learn to aim when surrounded and survive a long time.

Funny joke, I'm around 20 ms and awful at pvp. I tried comparing pvp with 20ish ms and 100ish, and saw no difference. About the actual topic tho, ninja.

About the ping thing, it's not necessarily all that goes into pvping well. You need to know how to fight, or your connection will be useless. You need a connection, or knowing how to fight will be useless. For fighting, you need to learn how to be resourceful with your health which apparently isn't something everyone can do so easily from what i've seen. Click at least maybe 3 times a second or however many it takes that gives you enough registered hits to get combinations. For example 1 click a second will give an opponent freedom to hit you vigorously before you can hit them. I would say those two are the most easily practiced components in the pvp comunity. The likely most important part of pvping is your aim (in my opinion). You could click 18 times per second and it wouldn't be worth the effort if you can't seem to keep your crosshair on a player for longer portions of time.

EDIT: Yeah, I suppose ctf would be good to practice with classes that have disadvantages, giving you more challenge. I would use Ninja to practice your aiming with, Chemist to practice health management, and Assassin to practice clicking (having little armor, you need to get more hits into someone as you have a short life span)

Ping aint everything. I still get destroyed by people with ping far greater than mine.

Anyway, I personally practiced pvp with heavy defense for a while. Just wanted to get the hang of aiming. Ninja is a lot more hardcore and difficult to really practice aiming with, especially if you aren't already decent at the game. Most regulars can kill just about any ninja without too much difficulty. With heavy defense, everything is much more laid back and generally people aren't trying to kill you, they're trying to get by you. You can take a bunch of hits while dealing out some good damage in return. It really is the most pure pvp class imo. Once you can aim and strafe, THEN consider practicing with chemist and ninja. Hotkeying, knowing when to use potions, invis, eggs, whatever else is, imo, on a whole different level than just practicing pvp. So I would say heavy is your best option to get a good base. Then start building up.

In my opinion, if you manage to Fashionista cap on a full game where your team only has randees and the other team only has pros, then you are... cheating because Fashionista can't be accessed anymore... But you'll also be the best PvPer of all time.

Imo not true, i've played more PvP than archer on CTF now, i find that the "skill" most PvPer's always talk about is their reaction and ability to hit targets fast while strafing. Even if i join a soup server in which the host is literally living in the same state, i'd average 30 ms and still not be able to hit the other people there :L

The ability to hit faster then the enemy is all due to ping, and strafing isnt really pvp skill, its dodging skill.
