    Catching a soldier before it leaves the flag room is completely map dependent

    The problem wasnt the sword is what we were getting at Gala. The steak, webs(debatable), medic/chemist teaming are the real issue.

    Very true. I think having the Medic be more support then brawler makes for a well rounded support class. Just be glad that the medic can still hold his own in battle.

    Ik, I've just been seeing a good chunk of people complaing in chat saying how medic is now UP and "useless"
    I agree medics healthpool should be reduced. Maybe only 4 steak? Again, Medic isn't meant for pvp and it already has regeneration to heal the occasional hit or two.

    Chemist needs to be changed imo. Chemist is another example of a support class that everyone uses for offense. Chemists can indure so many hits from everything it's ridiculous. Ik it's the person that makes the class, but if a single chemist can survive a defense up to 15 people on it's own then there's a problem. If chemist was originally intended to be a support class, why is it so equipped and prepared for pvp?

    Thank the lord for the double clicking to activate frenzy, I hope that the first time it activates the sheild instead and 25 arrows instead of 20 sounds good.

    Whoever says that is either a noob, just bad with medic, or a troll. I dont think medics should be able to heal medics as quickly, maybe 30 seconds to a minute. Same goes for multiple medics on a flag carrier, cause oh my god is that a pain without a frenzy pyro.

    Thank you, thank you, someone actually agrees with my main complaint against chemist. Chemist shouldnt be able to be healed by medic as fast either because oh my god chemist is already tanky af enough. Chemist is practically a more armored and health pooled ninja that can do more damage with pots.

    I disagree with this (and also to everyone else who said that btw). If you activate frenzy by accident, it's your fault, oh well. I play pyro, so i know how it feels. Yes, it might be annoying, but you did right click it and you have to live with it. It's not too hard to get your frenzy again.
    The other thing to the arrows. I know i've said this before, but as a person who plays pyro and plays offense, i can say that 20 arrows is more than enough. More arrows make pyros shoot their flag all the time (@LeDoener no offence, but it's really annoying man, pls stop). I would lower it to maybe 15 arrows, or make it 1 or 2 with an arrow regeneration like elf.

    Ghost capping is throwing an enderpearl out of the flag room and grabbing the flag milliseconds before the enderpearl lands which takes you across the map before the defense can do anything about it. Which means that only skilled ninjas or midfield can take out the ghost cappers as they can cap in less then 15 seconds on most maps.

    Its not as bad as the old instacapping, but by god does it piss off defense. Its also why pyros and dwarves have gotten more popular in flag rooms.

    thats most likely because the ninjas dont know what they are doing. Also, people like minehero are almost impossible to ghost cap on due to his skill with ninja.

    most ghost cappers ik *cough* sport *cough* wait for there to be a huge distraction at the enemy flag then they ghost when everyones distracted by the assault of 3-4+ enemies.

    I gave my perfect ghost capping removing ninja nerf/fix on it, but nope, the staff dont give a **** about one of the cheapest things in ctf. Its all focused on pyro and dwarf and soldier

    But yea, put your idea on the quick fix it thread, lets just hope they listen. (i realize i gave the staff compliments mostly except for the medic sword nerf crap)

    Hmmm. . . probably because people such as myself have become aggravated enough with it to stand in the middle of the map the whole game in order to stop them from capping. Or people have committed to staring at the flag intently the whole game to try and knock them away before

    The reason ninja capping wasn't effected is because it changes an entire method of capping, regardless if it's simple or not. It would be equivalent to removing wall climb with the flag, which isn't the right method. I explained this multiple times on the thread. Also, listening to the community =/= putting everything into an update. Yes, I saw the ideas, doesn't make them the best option at this current point in time.

    An entire method of capping, so you endorse ghost capping? Okay then, ninja was meant for recovery as much as chemist was meant for support, ninja should not be able to grab the flag and in milliseconds be across the map and cap in 15 seconds.

    My nerf to ninja would remove the cheap ghost capping. You seem to forget that ninja can cap in 3 ways, 2 of them cheap: #1. ghost capping, the cheapest way of capping which i already explained how you to do it. #2 prem capping, which is throwing the enderpearl while by flag giving the defense a tad of a chance to catch up to the ninja. Still cheap though. #3 is normal ninja capping, which for the ghost cappers, you throw the enderpearl AFTER you grab the flag which is what i do 95% of the time.

    Ghost capping is responsible for more engineers around flag room as well as more pyros, and dwarves in the flag room. If they get out of flag room which happens a ton we have to rely on the ninjas at mid.


    Removing ghost capping and removing wall climb with flag are two very different things, as ghost capping unable to happen anymore would only effect the ghost capping ninjas(omg, god forbid that the ghost cappers actually would have to learn skill in capping?)(maybe you are a ghost capper and trying to defend it, but good luck with that), while wall climb not being able to work with flag would completely destroy soldier.
