what really? I havent seen a telecap since the redstone torch-on-Crafting table days of engi.

Thats a ghost/premature cap. tele cap is with a teleporter

I mean technically pearling is a form of teleporting, so :I would theoretically be telecapping also

I have personally telecapped about 4 times in the past. All you really need to do is set up turret, cake and tele somewhere safe and near the flagroom, go steal, go back to the set-up the fastest way possible, teleport, and cap. I've found it easiest to do on Medieval Siege, as you can get to the set-up (at one of the back entrances to the courtyard-thing in front of the flag building) from the flagroom in a matter of seconds by just jumping down into the moat. All you really need to achieve a tele-cap is 1-engi and 2-little def in the enemy flagroom.

If @Alecksis is talking about ghost and premature capping, he'd probably be right. Even I do it a bunch of times because it's cheap and I'm lazy to to take the time to run across the map with soldier. But yeah, if Alecksis is talking about actual engi telecapping, then that's kind of false because I have only seen about 2-3 tele caps in my life.

 

Does capping when I have 500ms count as telescoping?
