One Shots, More Common Than Ever?

I just died 2 times in a row, both one shots. It is quite frustrating

 

I've one-shot full dia today, iMacro claims to have done twice. But Trog in half dia survived T-G shots twice.

 

I have one shotted a lot of people since the change

 

I one shotted @PatrykSzczescie in full indian when he was ( I believe ) at full hearts.

 

Repeater one shots Indians, in my experience. I believe that it also one shots diamonds, as the Repeater is stronger than the TG and the TG consistently one shots diamonds.

 

If one shots to indians were rare and one shots to diamond impossible, all of the gun fights would be more fun for bandits and sheriff. I mean come on, one shotting a team of 3 full d's isn't fun...

 

Ok, I think I know the reason why OSKs are now the norm. I don't believe that this is a glitch, but the simple fact that the guns now do too much damage! :v According to my calculations, wild west is using the 1.9 method of calculating armor protection. This holds consistent with gun damages past and present that I have observed. And easy way to find damage calculations is via a chart from the Minecraft Wiki. See this page and scroll down. According to Mario, the T-G used to do 15 damage per bullet. This equates to 7.5 minecraft hearts with no armor. With full iron (what sheriffs wore between the old days and just recently), the T-G used to do 10.5 damage, or 5.25 minecraft hearts. Assuming that headshots do twice that damage, that comes out to 10.50 minecraft hearts: a OSK to sheriffs in iron armor. Using the same formula for the new T-G and Repeater damages, we can find how much damage they do currently. The T-G now does 9.5 hearts to someone with no armor. To a full D, it does 5.51 hearts of damage. Assuming headshots do twice as much, that's 11.02 hearts of damage: a OSK!!! And that's not all. The Repeater OSKs players in no armor. It does 6.5 hearts of damage to a full D. A headshot does 13 hearts of damage! Overkill much? :v

So yeah, that should help explain it. If anything, the Repeater and T-G need to go back to their previous values. They simply do too much currently.

 

I don't simply claim it, I recorded it too. Each time I get a headshot with the twegehr they die in one shot. Only one time when I didn't get a headshot that they didn't die immediately.

Honestly, one shotting the two full diamonds made me feel so proud of myself for clutching :v.

Though, I took three shots to kill @SoCool21 today when I was doing my signature tower camp.

Last night me and @TheWubzsters died to 2 randy with one shot, we were full d, this morning me and him died to randomcitizen1 with one shot, and I one shot creepycreepermob, darthh_vader after Mario said he fixed the one shot, but it's happening more often now

 

I have been one shot 5 times now in the last 24 hours, and I have not gotten a single one shot kill either... This game hates me... I couldn't even get a one shot on a player with leather armor with my t-g

 

that was from after u logged, it was me and wubzster vs randy

 

I like the one shot kills. Makes things exciting and difficult yet easy if you play well & smart.

 

New Gun Stats:

Repeaters now do 2-5 hearts to Diamond Players.

TGs do 2-5 hearts to Kevlar.

TGs do 4-6 to default

 

I can't do my signature one shots anymore.
