Idea Add a credit bonus for winning?

    I think there should be a credit bonus for winning, ever since credits have been added some people have been struggling with getting new classes, or if you're like me and you really aren't that good at capturing and mainly play defense you have to rely on kills or every once and a while, recovers to get credits. Cause at this point, winning isn't really rewarding at all, you win and that's it you get nothing else. I'm pretty sure i'm getting more credits by just sitting there killing people and losing rather then going out there, getting the flag, then getting instant killed by a assassin or archer.

    It'd give players a motive to help their team win instead of going around killing everything that moves.

    People would switch just to get on to the winning team unless there is a way that means you had to have joined on the winning team rather than switching +01. Been mentioned several times and always the same reply btw.

    Only donaters can switch whenever they want and normal players can only switch when the teams are uneven. Couldn't a simple solution be that players can only switch during pre-game?

    +1 if they could add an anti team swap. And if it were mid game MVPs couldn't switch teams with their powers cause they could abuse that.

    But why would MVPs want credits, unless there's a gift option added.

    I could easily go on and afk for a while to get free credits. Also, even if I wasn't afk, I could just run around random killing or doing something which doesn't help the team win, and still get credits for us winning. We should get credits for doing things that help our team win, rather than getting credits for actually winning.

    I do kind of agree with you, but if there is a winning bonus, maybe more people will actually try and capture,thinking that there is a winning bonus involved, because right now people are doing exactly what you're saying (I could just run around random killing or doing something which doesn't help the team win), and its because there's no point in winning. But honestly i doubt anyone would go afk, since Ctf games can average from around a minute to 20 minutes, and seeing that at most only 5 people can capture the flag in a single Ctf game, which adds up to around 250 credits. But if there was winning bonus maybe the game would be more organized rather then having a bunch of people going around kill whoring cause that's one of the easiest ways to get credits. So either way it may make a difference, but if a winning bonus isn't added it's just gonna be the same.

    I really don't get why they didn't just do that to begin with.

    If someone would be willing to change their playstyle to play objectively to get credits, they already would, as capping and recovering get you a lot more credits than random killing. Just adding more credits on winning would, if anything, reduce the incentive. Why bother playing objectively to win when you could just let other people do it, since you get credits for winning either way?

    Actually I just thought, maybe since people would just sit around the whole time if there was a credit winning reward, why don't they make it so the winners get like a x1.50 credit amount for the game? It would encourage people to be active, and then the people who get a kill when in a certain radius of the flag get extra credits like maybe 3 or 4 instead of 2 so they feel rewarded and this helps them.

    Ok, you only get 10 credits for a recover and the amount of people that can actually capture the flag is very limited, and again, people are doing that right now, a lot of people. So if the changes were implemented (from my perspective) things would change and people would try and play the objective, but from your perspective things would change in a bad way and just kill people then wait to win. Wouldn't people actually try and play the objective? Think about it, if they realize that, by them not helping, they may not win and will not get the credit bonus for winning the game. So they would have to help, if they know by not helping they won't win and get the credits, they'll more then likely try and play the objective rather then do what you are claiming they would do.

    I like the idea of trying to help your team win, but I'd also like to get credits for winning. Maybe like 10-20 credits for a team win, not too much.

    I like the idea for getting credits when you win. It gives players a reason to play objectively more often. And about going afk, would you really play ctf just to go afk? Anyways, it's a good idea, and I think it should be implemented.

    But the credits you get should be less than 50. Maybe 30 credits.

    Well, the only problem with just getting less then 50 credits, is that the classes cost 30k just to get 1, unless they adjust the prices i personally think it should stay within the over a 100 range, maybe under 200. This is just an idea for right now, Im pretty sure they're gonna change the prices for the classes, hopefully.

    30k is a large amount of credits, but if it were easy to get the special classes, what would make them so special? And I think the credits for a win should be under 50, which is what you get when you cap, because most people did not capture the flag, so they shouldn't get the amount for a cap if they didn't. Since it would be a team win it should be under 50. It is just an idea, and maybe you're right tbh.

    Well here's what I was thinking they could do with the classes, instead of making all the classes 30k price them differently based on the gear and overall aspects of the class. Chemist and necro for example, both classes are extremely different, one is a lot more powerful then the other so it should be priced more then the necro. So necro at 10k and chemist at 30k. So to make this short change the prices for the class based on the class itself rather then making them all 30k.

    Yeah, cause right now winning doesn't matter, its not like were getting anything out of winning, i get more credits sitting there and killing people rather then going out and trying to capture the other teams flag, probably because I'm only limited to four classes and the only good capturing class out of the four, is the soldier. Some people may like wall spamming to get the flag but i'm not big on it.

    And just to throw this out there, I'm pretty sure not a lot of people aren't going to get to 30k credits before summer is over. This just doesn't feel any different, feels like it did when you needed a rank to get a class, the only difference is that you have the credit system to get a class. Some people have already gotten to 30k, i have no clue how. You literally need 600 captures, 15000 kills, 1500 flag carrier kills, and 10000 covers, to get a class. Just one of the 4 numbers, to get a class. Unless they sat there and abused the **** out of the recovery exploit.

    This should definitely be a thing. +1 billion
    But, the credits earned has to be low (but just high enough to actually be a reward)... so maybe between 15 - 40.
    Atm there's no satisfaction (or dissatisfaction :open_mouth:) in winning (or losing), which shouldn't be the case... x)
    The only satisfaction comes from the little things you do in game. You're rewarded for the individual things you do, but all in all it's 1 Team vs. another... yet there's no Team reward even when IT'S ALL ABOUT THE TEM BR!
    I understand people might switch at the end of the game, but when the game is more than half way over in time or if a team has capped at least half of the total captures required for a win, then /switch should become disabled. !!!
    Yes, there may still be early team stackers for VIP/etc. players, but that's only for Genetic members ;D jkkj Has team stacking been a problem at all ever on CTF? nope... so I can't think of a reason to not to have earned credits after winning a round. (There shouldn't be credits for winning a match because then every1 would switch teams during the last round. So now players who just joined the game during the beginning half of the last round would still be able to switch teams if they wanted to.)
