Idea Guard (Name could be changed) - Free Recovery Class

    Info: Change the Guard's 3 different abilities to help you escape, kill and recover. Watch out though, the Guard isn't as beefy as his name suggests.

    Inventory:
    Stone Sword (sharp 1) (renamed Guard's Sword)
    Diamond Block (Renamed Guard)
    4 steak

    Armour:
    Full leather (prot 1)

    Passive Abilities:
    Speed 1

    Extra Abilities:
    When you right click the diamond block, it will change into a Redstone Block, then a gold block of you right click again, and finally a diamond block again. There would be a mana system split into 5 bars, every time you change a block you lose 1 bar and a bar regenerates every 3 seconds. It would display in the action bar if you re currently in damage, speed or protection like: You are currently in (ability) mode. In Yellow, red or blue. The leather also changes colour.

    Diamond Block:
    This represents speed, the Guard gets speed 2 instead of 1 which allows him to catch up with the flag holder or run away from a large group of players.

    Redstone Block:
    This represents damage, the Guard gets sharpness 2 instead of 1 and which allows him to kill opponents more easily and turns it into a better PvP class.

    Gold Block: This represents protection, the Guard gets prot 2 instead of 1 and resistance 1 which allows him to die less quicker which means he can use this when he is being attacked by a large group of players or has the flag.

    The aim of scout is to give newer players the chance to have a try at recovery and understand what to do when they earn enough credits to get ninja because both have similar play styles. This would be a good counter for medic and soldier capping and perhaps even heavy. Although it is a little complicated, it is still completely noob compatible imo.

    Great idea!
    Some questions
    When you change into let's say diamond block or speed is there a timer to how long it can stay on speed or not?
    Don't you feel like it's similar to assassin?
    I mean I sort of don't understand how it's a recov class, I mean I get the catching up with players but i don't see it on like a flag stalemate but it's still a great idea

    I'm assuming the speed helps it catch up with the flag holder easier then most classes but unlike assassin, it actuallly has armor and can, once it's caught up to the holder, can then change to damage to kill and recover the flag. Little hard to explain but I can see where he is coming from
    Overall it looks like a class I would like to try out

    The concept seems like assassin, but with lower damage output?

    Not really sure how because this has armour as well, you can have the speed for as long as you want too.

    Some suggestions.
    Diamond Block: None, pretty decent imo
    Redstone: As stated below, change the base sword and It'd work fine
    (Gold block) Give it Resistance 1 Also, even prot 2 leather aint as tanky as you think. But also when thats equipped it loses its speed buff

    Change its sword to stone. DPS even with sharp 2 sucks on a wood sword

    4 Steak

    I must say that this is an ok Idea, but I'd use it more for capping than recovery.

    Love the idea of creating a new class. With some suggestions and fine tuning to this it could be greenlighted imo. If this goes ahead then players now have something new to work towards(if brawl decides to not make it free),especially those who already have access to all the classes regardless of credits

    Ooh wait leather armor. It could change colors depending on the block its using at the time!!!! :grinning:
    Sorry I just hate the regular leather color.
