Wool is never irrelevant, as it is the the most powerful object known to ctf. Ctf did not create wool, rather wool created ctf. The only one who holds more relevance and godly power is KollVenk.

Honestly there's no reason to change back now....we were just so used to the traditional appearance. The floating wool was really cool and unique, but now we have our big bootiful brawl banners. c;
The only thing I'm looking for now is to be able to right click when looking at the flag post... Atm it's just a pointless, annoying obstacle to overcome when stealing the flag/potting as a chemist (the same goes for a defending pyro, etc.)

 

Bringing back wool isn't still something that is talked about. It's an occasional meme among the community, but this thread seems rather pointless. I haven't seen any serious 'bring back wool' stuff for months...

 

Back in the good old days of 2015 when nom made a poll to vote on whether we should bring back wool or have banners instead, poll voted more for wool, keeps banners :L

 

My question is, is why so many people are still complaining about this. We were lucky enough to have brawl take over ctf, even if they did make their own changes. At this point, we will probably never see wool again, but that does not mean that ctf is bad or broken or that people need to complain. I think we are lucky enough to have ctf even without the wool.

 

Can someone explain why wool is better then banner? It's honestly easier to see the flag carrier with the banner and it also gives a buff to elf, mage, ninja, and assassin for capping (banner replaces helmet). I really think wool is overared to be honest (pls don't hate )
