Idea Changing the medic command in ctf

    I want to propose a slight change to the command for medic. it can take a few precious seconds or a lil less to type /md, but /m is very quick. m and d are also on opposite sides of the keyboard. It was much more convenient beforehand. Thank you for reading :smile:

    I dont mean to sound all whiney n stuff but this is just a proposal.

    This used to be a thing on McPvP, but it had to be changed when we merged with Brawl. Brawl already had /m as a command (it does the same as /msg), and instead of removing that command so it could call a medic, they changed the command back to /md. But I agree, I'd love to see /m be added again.

    Anyways, welcome to the forums. In future, if you have an idea you want to post, you should post it in the server ideas section in the sub-forum of that gamemode. For example, this thread would go in this section: https://www.brawl.com/forums/273/.

    They have so many ways to msg people, there's no reason to change /md back to /m

    /m would be nice for a medic helping you, maybe /md could do the same as /medic and /engi the same as /engineer!

    Eh I'm not sure about this. It only takes like .002 seconds to type the "d" after the m. I always thought it was a pain, but I got used to it and idrc about the /m deal everyone complains about anymore.

    You'll get faster at typing /md the more you do it don't worry. I wish it was back to /m but I don't mind /md as I've gotten used to using this.

    Well those few moments can be the difference between jumping away before a blow and getting hit and losing the flag.

    I think /m is already a command on Brawl, so that's why they changed it to /md

    Well, the reason it hasn't changed and probably won't changed is because, as multiple people have stated, /m is already a msging command for all of brawl. Of course it can be removed and so /md can become /m, but think about this: That /m command many other people probably use, and have used for years. Changing the command will effect more people negatively than not changing it, and so it will not change.

    But when you /m someone, it is usually not urgent, as it is in CTF. Changing /m to /msg would not affect much, in my opinion.
