    CTF Map Submission

    Map Name: Unholy Faith V (Correct me if V has been created)
    Creator: Xelasi
    Map: 344606, may copy into a clean void later.

    I tried to keep the original feel of Unholy Faith while adding map elements to help overpowered classes counter each other. The map is now more navigable, the flag room is more friendly to other classes, and it's possible to get across the map without getting sniped.

    Changes:

    - Added tall side walls to balance the tall center passageway. Archers have more options for picking each other off. The additional structures make archer more difficult for picking off people on the ground level.
    - Raised the lowest ground level by about 6 blocks.
    - Lots of terraforming fixes. Climbable corners.
    - Added water and sponges to low levels for class navigability.
    - Moved the flag room down onto the building's main level.
    - Made the back side of the flag room building useful.

    Maybe move the sponges by the flag room out of the water if you haven't already.

    And maybe add some structures in the flag room, it seems very open

    Looks pretty good though

    Excuse you, i was helpful in some of the landscape *huffs* jk. Finally, i miss unholy faith. I may get back into archer if this is added. I am the best entertainer heh

    i wont lie, its better than the original...but i dont think its ideal.

    the design of unholy faith in general is just garbage, its still so open to where archer is a huge problem, and your lack of restrictions makes engineer bad as well (at least i dont see any restrictions.)

    like here this is 1 of the problems i can currently c, tho the fix is quite simple...none of that area is restricted so an engineer can place a cake, and the archer can jump on top and shoot the entire map.

    another thing is u can pretty much still headshot every1 coming out of spawn, and the middle is still quite vulnerable, and the sides can be taken advantage of

    get an archer on the other side as well, and rip all. i know both of those archers could be easily headshot, but that would just cause more archers, which sounds a lot like the original.

    id also like 2 c sponges here b/c recov

    i will say the flag room is better and is overall a slight improvement, but i dont think its fit for rotation, and that goes for any unholy faith rework. -1 from me, sorry

    Yeah, this map is one of the ones that has a reputation for just being horrible. Some people hate it. Some people love it. Thought it would be fun to try something with.

    Can restrict the entire flag room building, no problem.

    Can add the sponges.

    I'll look into adding some cover up top.

    But I see your opinion on the map altogether lol, sorry any changes I make won't change your mind. Thanks for your time.

    I'd like to see more of these old maps get gameplay makeovers. These old maps fill me with nostalgia.

    i think u took my words the wrong way---

    i dont mean to call ur map "crap", if it improves on the original, then its better, and i think its better than the original. i appreciate ur effort to trying to make it an ok map, believe me. wat i mean is that unholy faiths design in general is crap, to where its really almost not fixable and worth the time...better off makin an original map yknow what i mean? i just feel that unholy faith isnt fixable to where its practical, the same problem will always stand no matter how u mix and match it. it goes for any rework, such trash called unholy faith cant be fixed, and should be left to die. an unholy faith rework isnt fit for rotation, no matter how itll be done.

    i dont mean to be insulting, i apologize if it came off that way
