Honestly, I worked for over 5 months to get staff. The only friend I had in staff was Viva, and I can tell you he didn't help at all. I am 100% unbaised and most of my mutes are from my friends anyway. I've seen the screenshots with you and the "corrupt" staff, and it really goes with the "Bleach-worthy". Brawl will never be as good as Brawl, but you need to accept that this is what we got and if you want to look for something better, you won't.

Think we need more staff and stricter chat rules, and this is coming from someone who get mad in chat a lot. You should really stick around tho there are some changes that are going to be fun

 

I understand where your coming from. Although I haven't felt like building the past 2 days, the 2 weeks before that I was on every single day helping build map for 4 DIFFERENT gamemodes. Its tiring. Brawl rewards us builders with the free Elite ranks, which is 200$ or so. Problem is, its just a tag, no actual perks. Mostly for me, its CTF.

*Disclosure*As builders for Brawl we deserve some perks. You may find them unfair, but untill you have a clever idea to give us perks without disrupting your gameplay, I suggest you be quite.

Builders are suposed to have acess to all the CTF classes. When I talked to the DEV'S about it, they took 2 days to respond with "yes", and another 5 days to actually give them to us. 1 hour after receiving them, something changed and I have not yet gotten them back.

So whatever, I shouldn't be playing CTF anyways, I should be spending the time im not building doing something productive. The problem here everybody is a lack of communication. The DEVs are not totally doing nothing all day, in fact I frequently find myself and 10 of staff members testing out new updates and gamemodes. The truth is, the staff team is a little bit shaky. They do not communicate with us, and we don't with them. In order for Brawl to turn into the server we want to turn it into, the staff members need to set up a TS server and a new fourm format. Both of these things will be designed to allow players to easily talk to the upper staff team and discuss changes and mistakes that have been happening. Just sitting around making crappy forums complaining that the staff are sitting around with their thumbs up their butts is funny, but also counter productive. Doing this makes new members see that veteran members hate the server and are leaving. This is a bad first impression that we make on new members which is what brawl needs.

 

I sit on TS all day and reply to most messages as long as it doesn't say "Pass".
The communication problem comes from the issue that players aren't respectful to a lot of staff. I find that a lot of players will tell staff members off and ignore what they are saying even though they are trying to help.

 

Honestly, Brawl is good but also sucks.

Being on TS doesn't improve the communication between you and the community. We only want higher staff members to take into consideration players' suggestions/ideas for God's sake, or you to report these latter to higher members. Recently @Lord_Roke has made some threads concerning community's opinions for War and what new they'd like to see. There have been an update with maps, guns changing etc. But this should be made more often and this for each server.

Damn. People have "begged" for a position that doesn't even pay minimum wage, has zero healthcare benefits, and also involves taking abuse from salty children? That is like all the sadness right there.
