Idea Chemist Tweaks

    So since the last small tweak update, there have been quite a few complaints about the needs applied to chemist. Their have been suggestions made to replace them, however I don't think they were the way to go. So here are my tweaks.

    . Make the Fire Res potion last 1:30 minutes on team mates and 1 minute on your self. This lets someone steal the flag and get back to their flag while have fire res the whole time.

    . Make it 15 damage potions rather than 12, 12 is a too big of a jump from 20 and I find myself needing a medic to refill my damage potions if I am trying to go around killing the offence.

    . Make healing potions not take up mana, as of now, every time you heal, you lose some mana, I think that after you use a health potion you don't lose any of your mana because it is key to surviving and the mana system wss originally for potion spammers.

    These are a few ideas to make Chemist a little bit more fair again.

    Yea, increasing the fire res time just a bit more would be really great... even if it's just a few seconds added. Bcause now it's like you need to splash it on your entire offense squad the second before you entire the flagroom, and at that time you would either be split up or already engaged with their roaming-ish defense.

    Increasing damage pots by 2 or 3 would be nice & convenient. I'm finding myself drained of harmful pots pretty quickly, especially if I'm on defense (on offense I barely use any, unless I'm killing). At least compared to a defensive pyro's arrow #, chemist has a lot less in storage and would be drained much quicker (while pyro basically never goes through all of its arrows before dying). But overall, I feel people have a lot against chemist and would rather keep its pot # to a bare minimum, rather than keeping it at a small storage. Either way, it won't make that big of a difference, but I'm just giving personal feedback.

    Making health pots not reduce mana is an interesting idea... (chemist only has 5 health pots and can be drained of hearts very quickly, and it's the harmful damage "potspam" that gets people mad) but it would mess up the chemist's mana system... This buff could possibly make the class a bit too OP (w/ more mana to potspam and all). If this happens, then the mana system would have to be slightly edited/nerfed for the remaining pots. But in all honesty (maybe I'm just speaking on my own behalf) chemist doesn't really need this changed.

    In all, I think people overestimate the class and don't keep in mind who is playing it... Because playing as an assassin, buffed heavy, pyro, or archer can have the same outcomes. Chemist is very difficult and has been getting more and more difficult to play. But if mastered to an extent, its harmful & buff pots has its solo/team advantages (for being quick and having high damage per sec), and that's what makes it so fun for me to play. xP

    Im honestly fine the way it is because i find that chemist is a really good class even with these potion nerfs, i see it as actually one of the stronger classes with a high damage output and with personal experience it can easily be used conservativly say using the harm potions to deal knockback

    I like your damage potions increase. Health potions not taking up mana sounds like an interesting idea, as nothing really could go wrong with the idea. To fire res, I talked to some chemisr mains and they told me 1:30 is quite bad, so reducing it even further would not be too good. However I like the idea of potions having a longer time for teammates, as this could increase Chemist's support potential.
