    What if assassin dealt more damage from behind when using assassinate? That way it would make it more challenging to run away from one ( saw suggestion from a post above)

    I feel like my assassin post inspired the true damage thing. ~.~ I like the suggestion but I feel like some of the stuff is kind of odd and out of place. I would find a way to incorporate the poison darts and spectra eggs better.

    This is an idea i had when reading your post that would offer a pretty cool gameplay design using this assassin idea.

    Instead of your poisonous darts just dealing poison I think they should cause the player you hit with them to hallucinate. Once the player gets hit with an arrow all other players for their team vanish from their view for the X amount of time.

    This would give assassin a way to confuse and single out enemy players in a large group like medics and flag carriers.

    I don't really like this rework, because this seems like a less OP version of Pyro with a changed name. Not only is the amount of hits needed possibly higher than 4, but assassin's armor is much weaker than the current pyro's armor, and pyro is already being consistently 2-3 shot by almost every class, along with the damage given through the assassinate almost half of pyro's frenzy. Also, having assassin take more damage while using the assassinate, with the lower armor, assassin will hardly stand a chance against most classes, especially heavy / medic / chemist.

    Why is there a cooldown? Pyro's frenzy doesn't have a cooldown.

    I'm also not too sure how much no knockback will help assassin. If you're dealing somewhat high damage through every sword hit, you would want to hit the player a bunch of times in a short time span, you would want to combo them, right? And a major part of dealing the wombo dombo is through the opponent taking massive amounts of knockback. If the player is able to not take knockback, the assassin would be at a disadvantage in a 1v1 fight where the opponent doesn't run away.

    I also agree with Miskey's point about the egg, seeing as having two classes with two different egg projectiles might be confusing to new players.

    The bow also doesn't seem to serve a useful purpose either. The 2-4 seconds you take to shoot the bow makes up for the 2 seconds of poison given to the enemy player, if you can hit them, of course.

    McPvp put assassin in a rut when they created the class. Its very hard to balance the class without making it too much like a different class. I think assassin needs a complete rework or to just replace it with a new class even if its a different role

    I like this idea! Make the class more interesting, except you either get rid of the bow or add something likeee slowness or something, overall great idea

    I really like the idea of the rework but as already said i would rather prefer taking no extra damage while using the assassinate and as a role of assassin it should contain the aspect of dealing double damage from behind so enemys cant just turn around and start running away. Assasssin has been a high risk high reward class and it should stay like this. Its pretty hard to get behind someone without getting recognized so the award should be equal.
    To the rest of the rework i just can say that me as a main assassin rly like the idea :smile:

    Pretty sure this reworked assassin would get like 3-shot before being able to do anything, and even if it does get assassinate, it would get 2 shot while people tank the 2 hits you're able to deal.
