Little idea to encourage people to play objectively and defend

    Make the kills within a small radius of the flag post be worth 3 or 4 credits instead of the usual 2. Not only will it encourage people to play objectively and defend to gain credits and kits faster, but kills on people who are about to steal the flag should be worth more than random archers kills in the middle of the map.

    Just as much support as I thought it'd get :stuck_out_tongue:

    Passed it on, would love to see this being added. I think you should still get the bonus if you get kills on people near the enemy's flag post too, to encourage more offence too.

    As a CTF player who mainly tends to attempt to capture, this would make it 100,000x harder for anyone attempting to cap to actually even get 10 blocks near the flag. I already have to deal with assassin squads, dwarf parties, and pyro campers (and ninjas, medics, heavies, and just about any other kit)

    Then again, there are those games where there are only 2-3 people guarding a flag (but usually thats when there are only 20-30 people in a server).

    Nonetheless, good idea.

    "also nerf archer its op thanks" - PLZZ do this theres archers that camp sponges, spawns, and generally populated areas and it gets very annoying. I'd say keep the 1-shot concept but either reduce their range, give them less ammo, nerf their armor, or change their sword from stone to wood (just some ideas, not saying any are good).
