Map Ideas?

A map inside a map inside a map.

 

A few ideas:

A 3-lane map with lots of tunnels underneath.

A map where each team's spawn is inside a fortress (something similar to the stuff in Lord Of The Rings).

An entire map set inside a network of mineshafts and traps.

An underwater city with an art deco style and inspiration from 1950's.

A space ship (either in the air or crashed) with massive rooms and areas to explore. This would probably borrow heavily from science fiction.

 

Okay fair enough. I've come up with a foolproof idea this time! A map, inside a map, inside a map, INSIDE A MAP! I know, I know, i'm a genius.

An Arcade theme would seem pretty good in my opinion.

How about a space station theme?

Either a map of europe, harambe, or pink fluffy rainbows dancing on unicorns.

 

I would love to see a shrinked theme, where you're like in a house (like maybe in the kitchen or child's room [maybe even your childhood room] ) and everything is scaled up to be huge. Like you'd be seeing a book be the size of an entire building. Another idea I'd like to see would be a book theme, where the map is actually a pop up book (so it's 3D). It could be a book about fantasy or a time in history (like the Greek and Roman times) or science fiction. Also, I don't see any city maps (which is a shame because they allow for a lot of easter eggs) so you should make a stand and make a map with a modern style city (like New York). Just make sure that there are blocks behund the windows so that ninjas can't glitch through empty buildings.

 

I'm actually going to start a urban-themed map when I get the time.

How about a politically correct Canadian Forts Revamp. A version where there are actually igloos, outdoor hockey rinks, mooses, and signs all around the map saying things like, "Eh", "Aboot", "Wow it's only -5 degrees outside, thats summer weather!", and "Free Health care." It would also help if in the corners of the map, there is just a random french guy saying "Tabarnak, Je déteste l'anglais" to show the divide in Canada.
