Who won? I forgot to go to the event yesterday :/

Was pretty fun overall IMO and I'm actually really sorry to everyone that was outnumbered by us teaming shouldn't have been allowed (We actually felt bad.. well kinda) @Eil @AnonymousGalaxy @Uraniumm just to name some people that were outnumbered unfairly. Idk if it's right to say gf but oh well. Again we're sry

I'm not angry at all. However even if teams had been disabled, the result would have been largely the same. Friends will team with each other thus Meta and other teams, while not in an actual team would still have fought together.

 

I really hated that one thing: teams.
Disable them next time (please) because even a good tanker like me cannot tank 5 Sharp 4 diamond swords with Strength and no armour for long

 

My take on Teams-

They bring a lot more people on the server, which is what we need. They force this to be a social event, and we want people to hop on skype and bring friends to the server. The only reason I wasn't on with Meta at that time is because I was doing homework, otherwise I would have showed up.

On the same token, and as you can hear in the vid, the tactic was to pick everyone else off one-by-one (which they accomplished spectacularly). The only way I can see to mitigate this is to force friendly-fire for the team, or have 1v1s in a tournament style. The former would still make teams OP (but less so) and the latter would take a ton of time.

 

@DeKrah why didn't you participate, you could of mowed these people down and win 1st, 2nd and 3rd

 

Too lazy, and I would've gotten teamed on by Demonic's team because they think that I hack v.v

The event was cool and so, but I think people lost too much gear, I liked the way it was made but maybe do so you can go outside the arena and then if you are outside you cannot go in again? maybe?

 

Technically at any point during the event someone could have warped pout, or done /spawn.

 

Yes, I know lol, thats the point, you can get out of the arena, and not get in again, I mean the point of the event is to win right?
