This is still a relevant topic, so instead of creating a whole new thread, I posted this here. "Thread is more than 30 days old, do not post unless the topic can still be discussed." It still can be discussed, so I posted.

Okay, since this got bumped and it's still relevant, I'll post mine:

I (tried) to blur the background because the trees looked odd from the angle I took the picture at. And my house is somewhat messy.

So that's an HP Envy (17 inch screen) with i7, 16GB of RAM (I think?), and 1TB of storange. It's nearly 3 years old now but I refreshed it the other day (Windows 10 feature) and it works almost like new but it still has my files and everything. Only thing that bothers me is the graphics card, because there isn't one. It's just an integrated Intel HD 4600.

My headset is a Turtle Beach PX22, but I'm getting a Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma this coming week, already ordered it but it took forever to actually leave the warehouse.
The mouse (can't see it very well) is a Razer Naga 2014, with the buttons on the side so I can actually hotkey, as my hands are too small to reach 7-0 comfortably on my keyboard.

I'm hoping to build a desktop soon, but this is pretty darn good if I say so myself =P

I actually cleaned up the mess that is normally there during the weekend, and yes that is a fan on the left, having a room on the attic can be painfully warm at times

    So, heres my stuff:

    photo_1474920300313.jpg

    Specs:
    - Acer e5-571 laptop with intel i3 @1.7ghz and 8GB of RAM
    - IKEA malm desk in oak
    - Ikea light?
    - Sandstrøm mouse (I think its an own brand of currys pc world in the UK)
    - Custom lego mousemat that was lying around :》
LED strip from ikea too I believe
    - Headphones - in case in the picture, but sony xb-950ap xtra bass (I don't use these with my main PC)

So I basically took my family PC to bits and souped it up with the AMD FX-8320, 8GB of RAM and an EVGA GTX 960 SSC edition. The monitor is new, I've had it for a week or two, and here are the rest of the specs:
    - Microsoft keyboard
    - razer goliathus speed medium mousemat
    - Logitech g502 proteus core
    - Cheap £15 headphones off amazon (I really don't use those £70 sony headphones with my main PC, ik, the reason being that I use them on the move and it's a pain to be constantly replugging them)

    - Philips 23 inch monitor with 1ms response time and 75hz refresh rate
    - BM-800 mic with boom arm and a USB audio interface
    - tp-link archer vr700 router I think?????
    - Ignore the speakers; they're old. They work.

    20160924_131631.jpg
All this took a very long time to save up for, btw. 3-4 years in total.
Note my amazing cable management skills, the power brick for the monitor is strapped to the right arm of the monitor riser :^ )

I've spent about 5 years upgrading this, my final goal is to have a Razer Blackwidow Chroma (I have the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate.)

EDIT: Here is my actual PC (I plan on adding LEDs to the inside.)
