Instakills Removed RLY

    Ok people what the living H E L L is going on. To Be FRICKEN Honest, all the people on here who say, "omg instakills should be revoked, ugh too op, ugh life." LIKE LEGIT UR ONLY SAYING THIS SHIZ CUZ U DON'T HOW TO DEFEND AGAINST IT. ASSASSIN: its called blocking and hitting f5, learn it. ARCHER: Its called zig zagging and going under protected areas and finding new routes to do whatever u wanna do. PYRO: ITS CALLED RUNNING AND ZIG ZAGGING, LEARN IT. Jesus, listen people I don't have time for your complaining how you keep dying. NOT MY DAMN FAULT U SUCK. Also, brawl do you really want to nerf the rest of the instakill classes. Lets look at archer real quick: "Punch I Bow, Snipe: Arrows that are shot 30 blocks or farther away instantly kill enemy players, and Arrows deal 3x damage to Chemists." Getting rid of the 'snipe' is like making another pointless heavy, soldier class, but they would just have a bow that doesn't DO CRAP. Assassin: Instakills using redstone, speed boost, gains life after assassinate. so basically, getting rid of instakills for assassin is basically having a stupid fricken ninja with gold boots. When I bought these classes, with money (not credits cuz I'm not new), I bought pyro and assassin for their instakill abilities. And now your telling me that those things are being taken away. Don't give me this frenzy bs, that's what it is, BS. Listen brawl let's see once all those instakills are taken, lets see how many people keep playing ctf. just saying all you newbies and people who just suck get over yourself, and fricken GET GOOD.

    The mind games you can play as archer are amazing :smile: (damn this smiley is ugly)
    let them zigzag into your arrows ^^
    I would like to see a change in the headshot mechanic:
    -Maybe less damage but a bleeding effect.
    -Maybe a cooldown On headshot.
    -Or a counter like... blocking an assassinate?

    I'm kinda new on the forums so I'm not fully informed of this Instakill problem.
    But my conclusion for the archer class: An archer that knows its enemy is deadly and overpowered in my opinion. I would like to make the class more skill required... but I don't know how.
    Maybe do something with the shield (when we upgrade to the new Minecraft versions)?

    So basically, to defend against assassin, it's ****ing simple:
    No. No it is not just blocking and hitting F5.
    That's about as wrong as when I say that assassins simply rightclick redstone (which every assassin main would kill me for saying that)

    First of, prevention with f5: ohey, yes, obviously I can then see behind me, great, works! But I can't see in the other direction at the same time? Well ok, so we have to check F5 quickly.
    But, uuuugh life is so haard there's even more buuuhuhuhuuuuu *crying*
    Assassins can hide behind things and sneak so I can't see them?!? I feel so damn insecure now :frowning:( (it isn't my chin tho)
    Ohwell, your solution is probably ****ing easy again: Just block when going around a corner or something similar you dumb untalented piece of nooby ****!!!!! (I forgot the ALL CAPS, sorry, bad impression)

    It's not like you'd have to block every few seconds when you're on offense or going pretty much anywhere on any map if you blocked after every corner.

    Well if it was only blocking then ye, I pretty much suck (I do anyway, but that's not our discussion here).
    But heyyy!!!! it's not like that 90% of the time the assassin is completely alone, right???? absolutely not the other way around???
    But hey, that's too complex as for now maybe, but we'll get there, I promise.

    Soooo, the assassin is alone like almost AAAALWAYS so you don't have to worry and just block.
    ****ing easy. But... oh I didn't know... I thought you take no damage at all when you're blocking?
    turns out you indeed do.
    I can see your evil plan! You want us all to block and never unblock so we can't steak or even worse, hit back!

    Sooner or later you'll have to unblock no matter what because you took enough damage to put your precious precious life at risk. It's not as easy as it seemed first, but bear with me, I'm just a noob, I'll get to fully understand your points. So in conclusion: if you don't unblock, you die. If you do... Well... you might survive...on to the next point(s).

    So you indeed have to unblock at a certain point. As you don't take damage as fast with just one assassin hitting you with an iron sword... well, how about a more realistic scenario? defense, let's say not too many: one pyro, one heavy, one assassin and one ninja... ohwell, let's scrap the pyro, too complicated, we add a necro (memes).
    You take way more damage and have to unblock sooner.

    Now as for the part when you unblock. Normally you unblock when you know, or better said GUESS that the assassin has already used his redstone and his instakill-window is gone. Ok, how do you know that?
    An Indicatior may be the assassins behaviour, but that's not as reliable since every assassin acts differently and it's generally a really vague indicator.
    Next indicator: little particles which indicate strength. They're barely noticeable but hey it's something! And it's quite easily spotted when there are multiple players!!1!
    Next, or normally (at least for me) first indicator: switching from redstone to the sword / using assassinate. They're not distinguishable so you'll have to block either way to be sure.

    But wait it gets even better: I bet you won't remember you killing me over a year ago...But hey, I got a video of it!!!


    it's kinda self-explaining.
    But as I'm dumb, nooby and suck, my psychologist said that for my own good, explaining things I already know is good exercise!!1!
    For me, you never held any redstone in the hand right before killing me (oor said in another way: after I dealt damage to you).
    So, in this situation, if anything, what exactly sucks:
    • Me
    • My framerate
    • My internet
    • Minecraft's/CTF's game mechanic
    Me: I bet you placed your vote here, GG WP
    My framerate: No, it doesn't. I play at 60 FPS and recorded it at 30 FPS.
    My internet: Yes, my internet sucks, but it really didn't suck that much this time.
    Minecraft's/CTF's game mechanic: OH NO IT COULDN'T HAVE POSSIBLY BEEN THIS WAY, NEEEVER EVER.

    So I'm indeed ****ing responsible for my own actions (I can still see no ****ing fault of me in this situation) aaaand if you want I'm even 'responsible' for my internet or framerate which I can upgrade to a certain point, which all costs money, but it wouldn't even be worth it for this situation. Why? Because mc servers work with ticks of 50ms (=update 20 times a second contrary to my 30/60fps, so not my fault again). Even upgrading the internet wouldn't have helped here (although it would've helped in other situations).

    All of you who instantly felt the need to reply and say: "eyy TTD3 u ****ing noob this barely happens tho????".
    Yeah, it doesn't happen often, but please don't pretend as if it happens almost never, a good 10% of my deaths to assassins (which I was able to see before they assassinated me) go exactly this way.

    Also: Now with the pyro in the defense...
    Either killing the pyro (can't block) or running away (can't block).
    Oh and there's also an archer somewhere, especially when you're a flag carrier.
    To move or not to move, you die pretty much either way if the assassin and archer are any good.

    I'd really like to address human reaction time and ping here as well, but uh, in conclusion: as a european player, the time window between you seeing the assassin and the assassin hitting (redstone activated) you can't really be below 400ms or you're pretty much dead.

    Sorry for the rant, I appreciate your satire though :^)

    AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON ARCHER lol

    How the heck do you block an archer headshot? You can zig zag but most likely, a good archer will predict your moves and still hs you. Hoi by the way Lionaa

    If you see 2 exact the same products and 1 is cheaper you would buy it. So the Term is useless since you are retarted to buy the more expensive one.
