Your mom is just looking out for you. Perhaps she is overly protective or she doesn't want you to be distracted by gaming. Grades are important in going to college and it does offer advantages as well as exposure to life on your own.

My advice: get good grades, go to a great college, and major in something that pays really well. After that, you can play all the games you want.

Before rushing to judgement, think about her perspective and where she is coming from. It might help you see why she does the things she does. Perhaps she never went to college, maybe if she did she had to work really hard, there could be tons of different reasons.

I do not know you (at least I don't think I do) but your mother is just focusing on your grades, you have no idea how important those are. You seem to be doing good. Do you know what would be a good idea? Have a teacher tell your mom that you're doing great in school, and that may help your chances with getting more freedom.
Though I don't think she should be telling you that you have no athletic potential, or tell you that you have no social life, because if you're being invited places, you have one. But I'm in no place to give parental advice, as I'm only 13 myself.
Hope things get easier. Consider yourself lucky, I live in the middle on no where, I am in complete isolation ever since I moved. So I literally can't go over to friends or have them over

Your mum wants the best of you, she wants you to be her amazing young boy who gets a wife and kids. she just wants the best of you man. its the same with my mum she rly wants to make me do well in school. but dude you only have like 2-3 more years of school and thats it so try your very hardest to get the best grades possible! dont think mum is a bad person she loves you so so so much and you gotta understand no one will ever love u so much more than ur family (mum,dad and sibblings)
