    I've noticed that more and more pyros are starting to recover. I mean, there shouldn't be a problem with this, but there is. You see, pyro got "nerfed", so no more instas. Instead they added something called "frenzy". And with this, I think they have buffed pyro. All you need to do on your way to recover is hit someone 4 times and boom frenzy. Then you only have to right click twice and the victim is set on fire. Whilst Frenzy mode is activated, it has the capability to 2 shot a Heavy. And that's just messed up man...

    My idea:
    The damage of the Frenzy mode should determined on the number of "Souls harvested". In other words
    if you activate frenzy when you've only gained 4 hit points (Hitting someone 4 times) the frenzy is weaker. But if you gained, let's say 20 hit points, they Frenzy that you activate will become stronger and doing more damage.
    No insta kills of course though.
    I will do a more detailed version of this later on, but what do you guys think?

    Pyro can only counter 1 player now, back then it could counter/kill a whole offense.

    Pyro is fine lol just because you die to a class doesn't mean you need to ****ing nerf it

    Pyro has very weak armor. Most of the classes can easily kill a pyro in 3-4 hits, frenzied or not. Pyro may have 5 steaks but they'll be eating through them fast because of how much damage they take.

    Pyro is just fine as it is IMO. It's more of a defensive class from what I've seen than an offensive class. Weak armor, but decent damage dealing.

    Pyro has always been a defense class and when the flag is gone it quite often turns into a recovery class. If the person capping is alert for a pyro/standing in water it becomes quite a feat for someone playing pyro to recov, after all they are fairly easily killed (leather armor) and have no speed abilities to dodge people protecting the carrier. Adding a points system like that to frenzy would also potentially create problems in matches.

    Pyro had a huge nerf.. Considering how easily it dies, the frenzy isn't that powerful.

    I'd actually argue that pyro is stronger now if used correctly as well. My current problem with the class however is player satisfaction, pyro does not seem fun to play or to play against for the general population of ctf.

    I mean, considering pyro used to instakill all and now can't instakill at all, I can't imagine it being stronger at all. However, I do agree that some thought into how to improve the gameplay could be interesting.

    People asking to nerf pyro again? man why don't we make pyro a 1 hit kill so all foes of the pyros can killfarm it
