    So it's been like atleast 1 month since testing maps and I'm getting fed up waiting for it to come out. It shouldn't take this long to decide what maps are being added. I would like to use the maps I've made that aren't accepted for other projects and I can't do this if I don't know which are accepted and denied. It would be nice if one of the current ctf mods could tell us the plans for the wave because I'm not the only one who is tired of waiting. @b0squet @wintergreen3 @TheZombieKat @Juli3n

    It'll take as long as it takes, unfortunately. There needs to be a trailer made - the media team will be busy on the War 2.0 trailer instead. Making a quality trailer without a lot of experience will take time.

    Wait why do we need a trailer? I'm pretty sure the CTF community can live without the trailer and would happily just take the update without one, if that speeds it up.

    Brawl needs as much advertisement as it can get. Making a trailer for map updates is a good way of doing so, since the maps are one of the strong points of CTF.

    Not all of them are active, and trailers aren't the only thing the media team do.

    I kinda understand the media team, but what have we used before for trailers? There have been plenty of wave trailers made before the media team I think (correct me if I'm wrong). Also, let's not make another War 2.0 thing, where we get hyped, but the hype dies and everyone is disappointed by the long wait (of course not as long).

    I mean, unless there were media teams back in mcpvp, because there were wave trailers then too.



    I'm just saying, if the reason why this is being postponed is for advertising sake, and we need a media team to create a trailer, I don't think that's a good enough reason to stop a wave coming out. Given, I don't think that is the only reason why it hasn't been released yet, but that leads to another issue: Communication and Transparency. Once again we are left in the dark for another whole month without any updates or anything. Something as simple as "We are still deciding on which maps will be selected and we are also still working on a trailer" would be fine for me. But none of the committee/staff has stated that. This issue has been happening time after time and I would personally just like to see some communication from the committee please! I don't want to offend anyone of course, just would like to know why it is taking so long.

    I can assure you we're working on it. It's currently finals week, and the past couple of weeks have been full of papers and projects. We have things to do outside of CTF, and they have priority over a video game. Just be patient.
