New healing method... the beef is just not worth it in the "long" run and they get used up really fast!
Idea 1: give water element a regen I for 8 seconds or something.
Idea 2: Make shield heal you, basicly regen 1...
Idea 3: Make there be a item in the steaks place that uses the shield charge or something to let you heal up

The fly thingy is ****.. needs some tweaking!
Idea 1: make the first 2-3 clicks only cost one arrow instead of two, and maybe, after 6 clicks start costing 3 arrows per boost
Idea 2: Make it use the shield mana-pool thingy instead.
Idea 3: instead of clicking boosts you "backwards" make it boost you "forwards" (based on where you are looking)

Too much to keep track off...
Combine water and earth in to one bow.... "nature bow" or something like that
leftclicking uses the water ability, throwing an arrow that splashes water and gives resistance (and some regen plx)
Using the bow uses the earth element as usual..

    Speed boost when using air.
After using air, give elf a speed I boost for 5-7 seconds.

    Arrow "regeneration"...
Idea 1: a slightly faster arrow respawn rate
Idea 2: holding arrows and shifting uses mana to create new arrows... 1 arrow every second and every arrow uses like 1/5th - 1/7th of the manapool (this is not to replace the standard, slow arrow regen, just so you can get your arrows back faster if you need them)

    "spamable" abilities
    ● Earth on "non-full" draw should slow enemies down, but only by half as much as a full draw.
    ● Make the air arrows have knockback 2 or 3 and be able to hit a player, but if they miss, the air *poof* thingy just pushes them like normaly
    ● On a full draw with first arrow of pure element, it should still do true damage, but only ½ or 2/3rds of the successive hits.

    Water element resistance
Idea 1: make it resistance 1 or 2 for 15-20 seconds, you cant do sh*t with that resistance 1 for 7 sec...
Idea 2: building on idea 1.... (~15 seconds) resistance 2 for the elf who used water but everybody else resistance 1

    Earth....
Make it 1 arrow again, or at least 1 arrow if on (non-full) draw, and 2 arrows on full draw... also, add 1-2 seconds of slowness.

    Earth SMASH!!!!!!!!
The earth smash thingy needs to do its damage even if the arrow doesnt hit anybody directly... i hate when i miss but the earth smashes down but it doesnt do sh't, especcialy since it costs 2 arrows.
Also, even if its not a direct hit, make players hit by the collapsing earth have slowness I for a second or two.

P.S: and dont come here and say "eyy, necro needs buff more than elf" .... i know that, but i only care about my beloved elf... :v

Some of the specific ideas in this thread are a little iffy (resistance II for 15-20 seconds is too long) but on the whole I like it. Let's Make Elf Great Again!

I don't think all of these ideas should be added but around 30% should. Good ideas though.

This wasn't thought out very well. Looks like you just spit out a bunch of random ideas without considering how it'd effect the overall gameplay. Lets go over it shall we.

Healing Method 1: There have already been suggestions and ideas about water element regenerating people. I thought it was a good suggestion too until I though about it some more. The water element buffs anyone in a 4x4 area of where the arrow landed. Each player would then get regen 1 for 8 seconds and resistance for 15-20 seconds per shot. So try getting past a defense that is constantly being spammed health and a damage resistant constantly, then combine that with they are most likely buffed by a chemist aswell. The arrow takes about 2-3 seconds to recharge which is faaar less than the effect given out. You regenerate arrows faster than you shoot them out, giving off infinite regen and resistance to entire groups of people.

Healing Method 2: No, no no. I don't think any class should have an infinite health pool and Elf is no exception. The shield is probably the strongest aspect of Elf (maybe after the wind element) The ability to completely deflect any types of projectiles is a very strong ability. The shield is perfectly fine imo other than the bugs it has with not deflecting some types of projectiles or not working entirely. Fix those and the shield would be perfect.

Healing Method 3: It's an alright trade-off to give up mana for health, but it again, gives the elf an infinite health pool. It'd be pretty powerful in a capping aspect because the regen from it would heal over any flag poison and the occassional hit. Combine that with a medic and wind element and the elf would be very difficult to recover off of.

All in all I think Elf's healthpool is fine as is. Its squishy nature is made up for it's incredible mobility and array of elements that can be combined to do massive damage.

    Combining Elements
I thought the idea of combining elements would be a pretty badass addition, but it would make the class too complicated. It's best for it to be kept somewhat simple in the aspect of not memorizing every combination of elements. That and it'd probably take forever to code and we don't have a coder right now.

    Speed boost when in air

That would be highly abusable. I can think of 3 different ways I would personally abuse that. Elf's wind element makes it the most versatile class when it comes to mobilty. Ninja is restricted to vertical and horizontal, soldier is restricted to vertical, but elf can go up, down, left, right, do corkscrews and somersaults, ect. It can go in any direction in any given time as long as it has the arrows for it.

    Arrow regeneration
Method 1: I think the regeneration rate of arrows is pretty good. It punishes you for using too many arrows too quickly by leaving you incredibly vulnerable.
Method 2: I actually really like this idea. +1 on this.

    Spamming elements
    1. No. This would be the reverse of archer bowspamming. You'd be nearly kept in place by a earth spamming elf taking constant damage from the element. The earth element stops players completely, so half would cut their speed by half. Assuming this still does the regular damage of a normal earth since you didn't specify this would be incredibly annoying and even worse than current earth spammers.
    2. I assume you mean the wind arrows will actually push players when directly shot? If so then yea this needs to be added. I suggested it quite a few times but since we don't have a coder it wont happen anytime soon. I think this is a bug anyway, because when you don't hit directly the arrows work fine.
    3. I don't think it's needed. Pure element is pretty strong as is.

Don't buff the water element to resistance 2. I already had a few discussions with it but I'll explain it again. Let's used a buffed heavy for example. Try to kill a buffed heavy with strength and speed from a chemist while being spammed regen and resistance 2 from a nearby elf. Now take that scenario and put it into an entire flagrooms defense. It would be ridiculously OP. The resistance effect right now cuts damage by half it seems so doubling it would probably reduce the damage by atleast 75% I do agree that the duration needs a buff. I think 15 seconds should work.

YESSS Elf needs a buff. It is one of the least used kits because of its counterparts are weakened forms of soldier and archer. I believe that if it was the way it was before the nerf, it will still be amazing!

Lots of the ideas sound good, but elf is already op by 1-shoting enemies... "How", you say? By using the wind element of course! Just pull back the bow, aim somewhere underneath a few blocks of the enemy, AND FIRE! The poor guy is gonna go flying around up to 14-2# blocks. Or just launch 'em into the void or off a cliff. :3
