Idea Clans/XP/Levels

    CTF XP/Levels/Clans

    Players should be able to rank up and get levels in CTF, these levels are just for fun and to see who's active etc. However they could be used to get classes and each class to buy requires a certain rank? These are how players should get XP
    30xp for cap
    5xp for steal
    2xp for a kill
    10xp for a recovery
    20xp for a flag holder kill
    These are the current credits just changed into XP.
    Levels should take quite a while to level up but not super long, these are some suggestions, XP should reset after each rank up.
    2= 250xp
    3= 500xp
    4= 1000xp
    5= 2000xp
    6= 2500xp
    7= 5000xp
    8= 10000xp
    9= 15000xp
    10= 25000xp

    With this, clans should be added. These are like the ones on war but you can set invite only, closed or open. You can also set a minimum level to join.

    Although clans and levels are a cool idea, I think CTF benefits off randomizing teams, and not really caring about levels, but more on gameplay and winning. It's what makes it competitive and fun for me, although I still love the way war is.

    Teams in games would still be randomised just clans would be cool to have

    We already have the team system, which are kind of like clans.

    Yes but there should be tags for the teams in game and clans are a good way to do that. Clans are more fun, teams are more competitive

    Back on mcpvp clans would give people prefixes which were cool and most people that want clans want them because of the aesthetic of sharing that tag between friends, we don't really want it for gameplay as much as we want to just have those groups and prefixes. It's a different thing than teams specifically because of the tag which is what makes people want them

    In my opinion there should be a universal levelling system throughout the whole of Brawl, similar to what they have on Hypixel, as it gives people a higher incentive to play. However, this would be a nice start to CTF. A few things though:
    • Getting to level 10 would be relatively easy, its the a little over the amount of XP needed to get 2 classes.
    • You get 50 credits for a cap, so it should be 50 XP for a cap too.
    • What would be the point in levelling up other than getting classes? Also, what would be the point in joining a clan?

    Clans could possibly share XP/credits? For this to work, clans would need to have levels.
    Levelling up could give you cosmetics perhaps?

    Considering its all we are selling at the moment, cosmetics should remain purely for donators in my opinion. I once had an idea of being able to level up classes with XP, which was an idea I came up with back on McPvP but never finalised - it could perhaps be incorporated here, though, if I ever get round to finishing it.

    Teams used to be built off of the /clan system. Once a player has reached a certain level, they can create a team. Having the clan system was great, and a huge part of the CTF community...

    Not really, you could create a team whenever you wanted, to make a clan you'd need to be a specific level.
