An Update to the Strikes System and the Mandatory Match Rules

Question, how many arrows/how much time between an arrow is allowed. Talking about elf earth spam js

 

This part bothers me for a few reasons:
1. does an autoban that's not repealed considered fair game for this rule? If so I think half of CTF are gonna be banned from the match server
2. how long does the ban have to be to constitute the 1 month restriction? 10 minutes, 5 minutes?
3. what happens after the second ban? (assuming this somehow happens of course)

 

Assuming these few seconds are 4-7 seconds? Or do you mean just pulling the bow completely back is enough time?

 

this is a bit too general imo. if the person is targeting u cuz its personal and they hate u and want u to die and not enjoy ur game then yea i think its appropriate, but often people get targeted cuz the class they are playing is stopping the other team from capping. i.e. if someone is dwarf/archer/pyro/engineer/medic they generally get targeted pretty hard but that is for the sake of objective gameplay, not for personal reasons or anything. it still falls under the category of repetitive targeting but it isnt particularly malicious or anything so i think getting a strike for that would be dumb

What if the person being targetted is playing only Archer, and they are being targetted not because they are Archers, but because they are disliked by the group/person.

 

So if I ever get unbanned I'm still banned from matches? Great!

 

Sorry, I'm confused. You say that any way of getting unbanned removes the restriction... so why is there a restriction? You can't play in matches anyway if your banned. Unless this rule is for people that are known alting

 

Really? If this is the case, I might play CTF more often. Although, most organized targeting I report, nothing gets done about. Is this going to change, and people will take targeting seriously now?

 

If you're reporting targeting like the last thread on the topic you posted on the forums, usually excessive targeting means considerably longer than 1 game (or less). Providing evidence of malicious targeting, like your previous thread is also a good idea to prove your point. The punishments also wouldn't mean anything to anyone outside of the team system so it won't stop them. If they're targeting you for an objective reason then they're not doing anything wrong either. If they are excessively targeting you for malicious reasons then yes this should hopefully stop that from happening

probably a mix of both. u have an annoying playstyle where u hide and shift so when people get hsed out of nowhere they will naturally go after u to stop u doing it again

 

I don't think this means players will get punished when they target you for spawn shooting
