    Bring back the sharpness I on the medic. It makes it better for offence, defence and more playable and usefull.
    Im thinking:
    add Sharpness I
    minus one steak


    Edit: I know this had been talked about just wanted to bring it up again

    My opinion:

    -add sharpness 1 to sword
    -remove 1 steak and/or nerf healing to regen 3/4

    Medic is way too weak to defend itself on its own, which it needs to be able to do. Adding sharp I back would definitely be nice.

    I like the idea of taking away a steak and adding Sharp I back, but ik there are a good amount of people who don't. I've heard "Medic isn't meant to be a PVP class", and to that I'd say that adding Sharp I won't make it a PVP class lol. Adding a Sharpness tier wont make it so medic is able to one shot heavies or even ninjas, just makes it so it won't take a year to kill a ninja, which I don't see as a bad thing for either party. Heavy will definitely still be able to kill medic easily, not like it takes away all counters to it, even ninja would still be a solid counter. @Daniellll throwback to yesterday !

    I think this would be good, although medics aren't meant to handle ninjas easily, they should be able to defend themselves a bit and without sharpness1, it's hard to do that.

    Medic needs the buff back tbh, it's now a 'weaker class.' When I used it with sharp 1, we did this medic rush thing where you can heal the medics and take the flag, it was so op back then. Looking back they did a HUGE stretch to debuff it.

    Medic deals 2.5 hearts (5 attack) as of currently, which can kill ninja in a outstanding 3-4 hits. If sharpness was added, you would deal 3.125 hearts (6.25 attack) which can kill a ninja in about 3-4 hits. So what's the diff? Not much, but ninja is one class, so medic sharp would be ok.

    @NomNuggetNom I've yet to see any negative rating or comments about this and tbh I don't think it'd be too over the top of an update to risk trying. Might be worth it.

    I dont think removing the steak and giving it Sharp I is a fair trade off because as @lasertagfighter said, it makes almost no difference in damage.

    You could either give it sharp II or III or maybe just buff it without the tradeoff.

    What I don't get is that somehow archers get a better melee weapon than medic. I'm not really sure why sharp got removed in the first place.. most complaints about medic stem from web spam or medic teaming

    The reason why I usually include the trade-off is because quite a few people think that giving medic a weapon as good as archers is super bad since it makes it as powerful, which is a small difference. I do think removing a steak would be helpful in keeping it balanced.

    Sistrens, I need my 6 steaks with all these ninjas snatching me bald with their ping and speed.

    Medic Change Idea:
    Medic can no longer restore items unless the player being hit is out of combat for 5 seconds.
    Restore timer remains the same once restore is administered.
    Medic normal hit regen increased to regen 6.
    Medic sword buffed to sharp 1.
    • Makes medic stronger as a solo class (Survivabiliy).
    • Makes it so that medic isn’t permanently targeted prior to a steal.
    • Removes a restore mid combat making recovery extremely hard.
    • Makes it so that it’s easier to tank recov while waiting for the restore, but a restore can't completely destroy recov immediately.
    (For the previous two bullet points, the idea is that the medic has to keep the player alive rather than rush in, restore them, and die.)
    *Note: This is my personal opinion, which has received a bit of support from members of the committee, however this is not the collective opinion of the committee.

    I will be making a thread concerning this as well for more public visibility.
