Elf

I'm only speaking from personal experience so it would make sense that other people thought differently from me. It might be my lack of experience that makes me think elf is fine as it is. I defínetly think a buff would be good, but maybe buff the class in a different way so that it balances out the fact that it can't get its arrows restored by a medic. Like dankmastr said increased arrow replenishment speed would benefit people who use their arrows wisely but doesn't help people who just constantly spam wind and other elelments

 

elf arrows being regenerated by medic heal or increased regeneration speed on its own would be fine, xdd

used to play elf myself and I'd find myself in many instances trying to cap and I would use my arrows resourcefully but I'd still die because they took a while to regen, probably partially because of the map/recov but /shrug

 

Elf capping is super dependent on maps which is what I think is one of the major issues with the class. Most class gameplay is relatively consistent on every map but elf has some maps where it is essentially useless

 

Ninja pearling and Elf flying are two different things.

Capping with a specific class in general is super dependent on maps, and there are definitely maps where capping with a class is easier than others

• Medic/Heavy - Opposites Collide
• Soldier - Blackout/Lowrise
• Necro - fk u

Anywho in regards to the last bit of your post, I've found Elf to have a purpose on nearly every map unless it's OC V. In general Elf is a more versatile class than the rest with it's elements, however most people don't exactly know how or when to use them (no offense lol). Elf has a higher learning curve which prevents most people from actually giving the class a real chance and thus they judge it based off playing it for a short period of time. ^^ I'd say elf is a class you need to spend a good amount playing to form a real opinion on it. (Mildly off topic from the thread's purpose but meh)
