Idea What are your biggest problems with dwarf?

    I don't want to add a poll to this as I feel it would constrict answer variety and specificity. But what problems are you guys encountering with dwarf? Personally I feel that the biggest problems are how long it takes to get strong and how overpowered it can become.

    Its frustrating for the enemies when a dwarf on a quantitative defense with no coordination is basically immortal because he has people surrounding him on all sides. It makes it very hard to cap, and when you finally kill him its frustrating for him to die because of how long it took to get to that level.

    Lose-lose all around really. But I want to know what problems YOU are having with it.

    Problems when I play as dwarf:
    • It has essentially existent mobility if you want to charge up your sword. This forces you to camp in the flagroom or in a place where any ranged class (especially mage) can't easily survive. Considering CTF is supposed to be a fast-paced game, this is very boring.
    • If you die, it takes a long time to charge up your sword and be useful again. Although this is fine in terms of balance, due to how OP dwarf is when you are able to charge up your sword, its no fun for the person playing it.
    Problems playing against one:
    • It has reasonably good armour, so killing dwarf is much harder. Especially as most defences have a medic now, you need to kill the dwarf in one go otherwise it'll be back at full health again, which is hard to do if the dwarf is accompanied by a lot of other players. This makes assassin the only real good way of taking out a dwarf.
    • It can get a sharpness XI sword (the level cap is supposed to be 10, but it can get to level 11), which can one shot most things considering players capping probably don't have full health (since they'll be being attacked by the rest of the defence). This, combined with a strength potion and crits is way too much damage.
    • Its knockback perks mean its very easy to stop players from picking up the flag. As soon as a player even gets close to the flag pole, you can just knock them away, preventing them from picking up the flag. Especially due to the delay on picking up the flag (which feels like almost a second sometimes), this means even if you exclude the fact that dwarf is hard to kill and it has an insane damage output, it is still very annoying to play against.

    My main problem with dwarf is the fact that it was not designed to be played in the way that CTF is played now. Back when it was originally introduced, it was a perfectly viable and balanced class that essentially nobody complained about because of how the game worked and because pyro and engineer were infinitely more annoying.

    Dwarf needs a full and complete rework to be able to bring it into the new way that CTF is played today, thus making it more fun for all players.

    My other "problem" with dwarf is the disappointment when you get stabbed in the back by an assassin that you didn't even see. Alas, this is the life of a dwarf. The hilarious/awesome moments more than make up for it tho.

    I don't really play dwarf, but when I do, I ask for potion 'o strength. Stay thirsty my friends.

    The fact that they can attack really fast... Mining fatigue please...
    Oh, and the knockback.

    I think it's a cool class, it's my favorite besides archer. But I do think the knockback is kinda meh. It does get kinda rediculously strong XD, so maybe instead of level 11 they have a max level of 7-9? I dunno. But 11 is quite high.

    For 1.9? Cause, it doesn't affect the attack speed in 1.8.

    My problem its Too much OP, and the slowness is are not op. But the kit is need some rework

    I think it is way to OP. Because it has so much knockback when you get it to a top level. I think its gear should be diamond boots , and a diamond helmet. A chain chesplate, and chain legs.

    Yeah the knockback they should get rid of. I think they should also change it to a max level of 9, not 11.

    Also a good idea imo.
