    Hi Brawl,
I had an idea for CTF. I'll keep this thread short because there's really not that much to say about this subject. I thought maybe while you're playing CTF, you can type the command /rotation, which would show which maps will get played in a match. Not just the one you're playing, but all three maps. There could be issues to this idea, but still. I'd like to hear further comments about this idea! Please tell me if there would be issues to this plan!

Pretty sure it's randomised during the 15 seconds between each game but I would like to see this added if it's possible.

They are randomized but I guess it would be nice to add this command. This would just mean all 3 maps would need to be randomized once the CTF server starts up.

I could be wrong, but I'm fairly certain they're all set once the server restarts, as mods cannot change the upcoming maps.

I'd actually like to see this command although it isn't extremely necessary.

Personally, I like not knowing what maps are coming up. It's sort of a surprise which I enjoy. I do see the usefulness and appeal of this command, so it's a nice idea. +1

Can we remove those extra 15 useless seconds then?

What is the other way round?

Responce to miskey and gotobed (to lazy to qoute).

Lets say it was set earlier. There is nothing that prevents it from changing => Mods could change maps.

Lets say a mod changes the map. Well then when the game starts, t randomizes it, and whatever the mod did had no effect. This i supose is the reason why.

However this could be easily fixed, but tbh, i cant se why.

Because sometimes I have run into blackout that would run twice in a row or in the same rotation which made me think it was random and by chance.

Mods have to reset the server by skipping all the games or they have to wait for all the games to finish before the server reboots, then they can set maps. You don't really play CTF so how would you know, you also aren't mod.

I am not sure how that has anything to do with the map changing thingy miskey talked about, which can ofc be ebcause i havent played ctf much at all since it moved to brawl. I was active on ctf before it though.

They are random when they are originally selected, which does not exclude the same map from being picked twice. That being said, the second the server restarts, the maps of the next match are already determined from what I understand.

Personally, I'd like the surpirse, too. But since practically everybody knows which maps are in the wave, it's not a huge shock if something like Academy II comes up. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE having a surprise when one of my favorite maps comes up, but almost everyone knows which maps are available to be played. So it's not really shocking, if you know what I mean.

Basically what I was thinking. Additionally, if you've just done, let's say, Whiteout. And the next match stars with, idk, Molokai, but the game AFTER Molokai is BLACKout. I don't really think many people will want to do Blackout two games after Whiteout. This way, you can check if Blackout's coming, and you can spread the word and just go to the other Ctf rotation/match/whatever-you-call-the-emerald-blocks.

Anyways, thanks for the comments, I appreciate it!
