If you haven't been a sheriff, you don't really know what its like, yes you can imagine what it's like, but you never really understand until you've experienced it. Charlotte is not trying to 'kill' WildWest, she has just been a sheriff and knows exactly whats it like, and is constructing an opinion based off her experiences.

If we look at players like Nafsu, Hitchens - Both quite sheriff within a week or two of being promoted simply due to the reason that they were fed up of getting outnumbered every time, and never winning any fights because of it. May I suggest applying for Sheriff to maybe get a feel for what its like, it may help you to see this from our perspective.

Hah you couldnt be mre wrong. @SoCool21 can confirm. I got demoted. I actually won tons of figts as sheriff without kevlar. The fact that i had free gear allowed me to do risky but damaging attacks.

So from my persoective as a sheriff, my kit was strong enough. And the sheriff kit is stronger now with the extra pots.

I've literally never bought Kevlar (might be why I suck in fights) but I think it's because we don't make enough money to support that even buying it once a day. I'd say 8-10k would be good.

Currently, the only risk for sheriffs is bringing Kevlar. In a sense, the only way sheriffs can potentially lose money is by buying items. Since they aren't forced to buy anything, they generally don't. We should be focusing on giving sheriffs a bigger risk factor rather than benefiting them economically imo.

 

Who tf thinks most sheriffs are buying kevlar for a 1vs5? No, they would buy kevlar when they already have a chance, making it rather unfair at times. So they would essential buy it when they shouldnt, and not buy it when they should. This is a problem with kevlar in general. Lowering the price would certainly not help.

What needs to be done instead is adding more sheriffs (theres tonns of good applicants), and to counter that a little bit, make sheriffs unable to cuff rogues. This could simply be done by changing things in the handbook.

There's a few other changes that should be done to the handbook, but they are rather small.

 

It takes around the average tank in wild west 30-40k worth of gear and it takes a long time to process. If there was 2 people same skill but one was Kevlar the other diamond the Kevlar would definitely win.

 

Because there are more of us. Fight fire with fire, instead of complaining about Kevlar how about complaining about less sheriffs

Now I as much as I have played WW and have fought against only a couple of kevlar'd sheriffs they most certainly have a big advantage. They can tank 3 t-g headshots and the 4th will kill and they can tank 2 full on sawed head shots and survive. Now lets picture every sheriff having this sort of tanking capabilities. The fights would sway so much in a sheriffs favor that bandits would just hq the second they see a sheriff come on. Now I have never been a sheriff, but I can understand how it feels to be outnumbered and such, but I've seen Eil take on 5v1's and kill about 2 before he dies at times. This is mostly cause he played smart and got the bandits into a position where he had the advantage.

I think sheriffs are fine the way they are in the most part. I think the issues are that not enough sheriffs are ever on to fight against bandits or the sheriffs are hugely disorganized against a bandit team that is organized.

@charlottethegirl That was way back when diamond gear had full protection and thing was very different. Sort of wished those times would be brought back.
