Note on Capture Farming

    So I've recently I was told by a few folks that some players have been playing on servers with little to no players on it to capture. In my personal opinion, I would consider this as borderline capture farming due to the fact that the other server is NOT full. If said player is on a server with non-regular players, it is extremely easy to get captures. The players that I am speaking of tend to always play on the relatively empty server. This means that their stats may not directly reflect their skill level since capturing on an empty server is way easier than on a full game with a decent defense. So I would like to ask the community as to what your opinion is on this scenario.

    Also I don't play the objective so I probably am completely incorrect about whether this is even close to capture farming or not KEK

    If players are caught farming for a certain stat I believe they can have their stats cleared all-together.

    Well the tactic is cheap but I wouldn't really care considering stats don't even mean anything to me.

    I usually play late at night when there's very little people on, so that's the only time when I'll cap. Even so, I don't have as many as a lot of players. I've always felt guilty capping when there's few players on and half of them don't really know how to play the game.

    What if the other servers are full? The other people who "Capture Farm" have no other place to go...

    Personally, when I feel capping when would be too easy on a defense then I would use a class more difficult to cap with like mage or archer, and with an empty flag room I just play defense because what's the point in capping on no one. I tend to avoid times of day where few players are on because I tend to enjoy full games more

    There are some people who prefer smaller games than larger ones. We can't just assume they're doing it for stats.

    I don't think this thread is directed at everyone who plays on empty servers. From what I understand this is about people who go to the more empty server when there is a more full server available so it is easier to cap

    Like seriously, I've been accused of cap farming on a full server before because there was no defence. We can't wipe people's stats simply because they are getting easy caps.

    Only to actual cap farmers. Not just people who are getting caps easily, without the intent to farm them.
