Idea Mage Revamp/Changes

    So we basically all know that mage is pretty much the most annoying class to fight against as it has powerful ranged weapons that keep you from landing any hits. The aim of this rework is to make mage less annoying but still a viable class that can disrupt midfield play.

    Damage Spell: Currently - 1 arrow a second pretty much, dealing 3.5 untrue damage

    Fire Spell: Currently - Once every 3 to 4 seconds dealing around 4.5 untrue hearts including burn damage

    Lightning Spell: Currently- Once every 6 to 7 seconds dealing 3 hearts of untrue damage, not counting the most likely insane fall damage you will take from being launched up or off the side of a building.

    Freeze Spell: Currently- Freezes opponents in an ice cage for around 5 seconds.

    Healing Spell: Currently- Full heal regen for you and teammates.

    Nerfs/changes I am proposing:

    Damage Spell- Fire speed nerfed to 1 arrow every 2.5s with damage upped to 5 untrue damage, encouraging better aim instead of spam and giving melees more of a chance.

    Fire Spell- Stays the same

    Lightning Spell- nerfed to 2 hearts of untrue damage with similar mechanics as now

    Freeze Spell- Freeze time nerfed to 4 seconds, however if the snowball misses a player and lands on the ground a 3 block wide, 2 high ice wall is made where it lands and would again last 4 seconds (centre of the wall would land where the snowball lands) (creds to @MyNameIsSci I saw this and thought it was interesting). The wall could be helpful to throw up infront of your self if being shot by an archer and could also be thrown infront of a flag stealer if you miss your snowball. This could be pretty strong if capping on a map with small tunnels but mage has weak armour so it should probably be recoverable.

    Healing Spell- Stays the same apart from you cannot heal teammates with the regen. To heal teammates you must hit them with the hoe much as medic does and it gives teammates regen 1 for 5 seconds and you can heal the same teammate once every 10 seconds.

    I guess this just makes mages be more accurate and gives it less of a support role like medic and more a control role with the ice wall to effect the environment of the game. Let me know thoughts below, and thanks for wasting you time reading this.

    TL;DR, Less firerate, slightly more damage, less team healing
    Edit 1: Further nerfed damage spell and lightning spell.

    The change to the heal spell wouldn't do that much. You can still team heal but you just have to go and hit each team member. Whenever I use Mage I also don't keep healing the same person.

    Also, maybe mage needs a complete rework.
    Damage:
    2-3 True Damage
    1-3secs cd bc spamming
    Fire:
    Removing the 2dmg before any firedamage.
    Lightning:
    No idea/can stay for me
    Freeze:
    your ideas
    Heal:
    Add absorbtion hearts, after fully healed.

    This doesn't honestly sound like it's going to change a whole lot. You might make mage a little less powerful but I seriously doubt you'd be impacting good mages much at all.

    Currently mage is like a second medic that cannot restore steak, regen 1 will only heal about a heart and therefore makes people more reliable on medic instead of mage for its healing.

    I really like you idea of upping the damage to the damage spell and increasing the cool down further but didn't want to take it to far in my first edit, check it out now and tell me what you think and whether it should go down to 2s?

    Check out the fire rate now? Is it still to fast or should I put it back down to 2s?
