Hardcore Games Revamp Ideas

I hate to have to bring this up as an argument, but (this goes for most of you) you've not really played HG here on Brawl. MCPvP is not the same as Brawl - people play differently here. And I hate to be rude, but please leave this kind of thing to the people who know what they're doing - which does not neccearily include me (haters gonna hate).

Actually, there are players. People like you will probably be one of the noobs that Rhoske means so maybe we should make the change apply just so you have it easy.

 

The issue is that noone has played hg here on brawl, that's what we're trying to fix.

 

Including the people suggesting the nerf. Also, there are people that play on BrawlHG.

 

We've discussed this extensively with all the HG mods, and they're all okay with it - though Matt is still looking for a compromise, which I'm open too, if we can find the right one.

No because I and Matt (who some of the ideas are from) actually know what's going on in HG - we play it regularly. If you, GoToBed or anyone else had made it, I'd be very proud of you - it isn't better because it's mine.
If you have a problem with me then please tell me instead of referring and hinting via text speech over the internet.

Look it may come across as rude and brusque but removing soup is insanity IMO - there was little to no reason to have this argument since HG needs a different type of change.

And maybe this is just me, too, but Matt and I care about the gamemode - we play it enough to be able to say what we say.

 

But that's your opinion, you can't just say something's better just because you made the ideas and you like it. I do like some parts, however i still believe no-soup is the way to go.

If you just listen to the people who have experience with the game, you have no input from newer players and therefore, you may choose decisions that newer players may not like. This would mean you have a server where only older players play, those older players will eventually get bored and quit (which is what has happened) and you have no new players joining so therefore, the game dies. Let's look at one of brawls popular games, party. It's popular because it's simple and new players can join and easily pick it up. This is the opposite of what HG is. Now look at the average player counts. I usually see about 30-80 on party during weekdays (don't play much) and on weekends, i often see 100-130. However, I see 0 people on HG during weekdays and maybe 3 on the weekend.

Making it No Soup would make it a lot simpler, meaning it's more likely that newer players will join and therefore the game will become popular and older players may come back, just to play a few games as they no longer see the consistent player count of 0.

In many of your posts you have mentioned something about you and Matt knowing what to do with HG or that you care for it. Yet I have not seen any posts from him on this thread?

I've talked to several players (DutchDoggie, T0mboy, Snax, Toki, to name a few) who don't really play HG much and can't soup that well (soz pls nu offence). They agreed with SoupHG being better. I mentioned some ideas to make it simpler in my newest and several other threads - which have mostly been ignored (3 even got removed I think - not sure why).

 

Didn't see but that is hardly any contribution.
4 players, how about we ask the community on a larger scale, making a poll that is advertised in game. I would like to see the results then.
These ideas are ok, you say they were ignored yet maybe people haven't seen them yet considering they werent posted too long ago.

 

I'm not talking exclusively about these players - however, you say yourself that "HG has no community xd nice meme" - ok then?
The same goes for the thread - I did not mean just one thread, I mean many more.
