How has @Proterozoic given the only valid argument when everyone's been saying, essentially, the same thing?

 

What if they don't have that player's skype or something?

Some people don't want to tryhard on the God-foresaken game

If they get annoying, kill them. There's nothing to stop you (other than them if they can beat you)

One of these being a game where you are supposed to be having fun. If you have fun by typing in chat, messing around and not playing objective, then what is the problem with that? It is only a game.

Most are making reasonable arguments, just not phrasing it in a way you particularly like. They're more along the lines of "this suggestion is idiotic" rather than focusing on why the suggestion is idiotic. Either way, we end up at the same conclusion.

Yeah, skype is an example, but same thing applies elsewhere. What if they don't have any contact with that person outside the Minecraft in-game chat. It's not exactly hard to believe, new players join ctf all the time

 

Kind of late response but,
In a real life example, if you're fighting a war are you going to shoot the living hell out of all the civilians living in the area because they're not helping your cause?

But I would kill innocent bystanders in CTF because they could be plotting to steal or because of the free credits I'd get. Now kicking people for cross teaming? No! I still want my free credits, and crossteamers just want to chill!
