    For many european capture the flag players including myself high pings are a real pain in the a**. Its not only annoying if your arrow flies through the target you aimed for instead of hitting it, it also intervenes in the game and creates an advantage for players espacially in the United States

    On the old MCPVP servers there used to be US based and EU based servers which removed the drastic ping differences between players, still allowing you to connect to another server if yours was too empty to play on. From my point of view this model would also be the ideal one for brawl.

    With this idea I do not want to split the community but I think that a model like this will help make the game a little more fair and fun for everybody and really hope that the "two server model" is possible to implement.

    Although in theory a good idea, there are a few specific reasons why, at the moment, this cannot be added.

    Brawl would need a larger player base on in general for it to actually be able to split up into a US and EU server. Currently the player base has seen a slump due to some of the things involving EULA. With the EULA in mind, brawl cannot make the same income (at the moment) to support a EU server. Recently the server has just cut out a lot of necessary servers, including the second match server for the team scene.

    base it in the Atlantic ocean. that way its only 1 server and you get equal ping for NA and EU!

    Well, ping is kind of a double edged sword, in a sense that yes the problems you said above exist, and it is equally problematic for the non lagger to hit a player who is lagging all over the place and combo someone who takes delayed knockback. The lag can be mastered, you should ask @Satelliite for a lesson ;D

    So whens are lesson? But in all seriousness if u have a high ping try getting optifine, changing priority,also I got a program called Dns Bench which is 100 % free and it lowered my ping down 75 also try upping your gb's used for minecraft. I also restarted my router which made my ping like 69-90. I still lag a little but Its not as bad ever since I did this. Hope this helped
