    With all the recent political events, political conversation and interest has been pretty high within the community. There's a website at which you can take a test to determine where you stand on the political spectrum, and a number of us thought it would be interesting for some of the members of the community to take it. Hallopiu has now made a website in which you can input the results, and you'll appear on a table along with other members of the community. There's no obligation to take the test, but we thought it might be interesting to see where you stand in comparison to others playing CTF on the political spectrum!

    It seems a lot of you, particularly @redslime, @Snowleak, @octane5, and @hans (whatever the heck his forums name is), believes in libertarian-socialism. How the heck does that work?

    To me, it looks like socialism without a government regulating or calling the shots. Who's going to make sure everyone pays their fair share? The general public? Honestly, that's really naive, if you think everyone's going to work together in a nice little utopia. Humans are naturally greedy, and there are going to be more than a few who will take advantage of the system.

    You don't understand how libertarian socialism works. It's socialism with social liberalism meaning - in other words - less state involvement in people's personal lives (i.e. whether or not they want to have an abortion or get high on LSD or whatever) and celebration of multiculturalism + diversity rather than an emphasis on nationalism.

    The government doesn't regulate people's sex lives anyway.
    So, you just described libertarianism in general. "You can do whatever you want, as long as you don't infringe on the rights of others."
