Idea Make Rules of Capture The Flag

    Make some rules about ctf:

    1.Don't team to your's enemy team. And 2. Help your teammates!

    For rule #1: That happened to me yesterday when someone from the another team come to mine's team flag and he wanted to stay. I don't really like it, its very unfair.
    #2 That happened to me today when i had the flag in a map which idk how it called and i hide but someone (Sample) was there and i type /h or i said help but Obi10 and Colorr passed and instead of helping me they just go to the enemies flag. 2 Times! Also! He wanted to give him the flag but when i said him now he said to sample to kill me (he was in my team). I really hate it! That was very unfair because player helps his teammates and not the teammates for the other team because that will be unfair no fun and no enjoyable.

    1. If you want to team with your enemy, I don't see the problem. There's nothing to stop you from avoiding the objective, just don't expect the other team to let you live (given they may be playing objectively)
    2. Not everyone wants to play objectively. It's a game, not a job

    @colorswitch dont be so mean

    I agree, people should help each other out. But if someone from the other team wants to be friendly, either just kill him or let him be friendly? I don't see a problem either way, also like how Proterozoic was explaining.

    Happens all the time. No one seems to complain so they either deal with it by themselves by killing them or by letting them be friendly.

    Just kill them if it's annoying.

    The only time I have an issue with this is if I kill the person trying to the team, and they complain. Team with the other team all you want, but don't whine about it when someone on the other team, god forbid, kills you. :open_mouth:

    Not everyone plays objectively but I will admit, I've seen loads of people who are playing objectively completely ignore the fact that they're in a team.

    It's casual ctf. No one is obligated to help you. If you're concerned about team play, then I recommend applying for a team. Official/Unnofficial matches have rules. But what you've suggested cannot really be rules, it's just more about common courtesy in the situations you have described.

    Also the map im trying to say its that it has and underground and surface.

    Now for the #1: (its like #2 but with not flag) if someone who is friendly and someone kill him and the friendly guy attack him and kill him, the players of the team who attack to the friendly guy they cannot let that guy been dead from the friendly guy to get kill, its like betrayal or treachery (don't know good english im from greece). The guy who attack him need to saved and not let him die. He might not be so pro the guy who attack the friendly guy (like me).

    #2: Well, i really like most people at this thread like it. Im thinking to help the players if they need help. That gonna make the game more fun and enjoy.

    And especially it happens every time the friendly guy and not help (well i got it today) at the morning when i see hillpark2012 , ImBogan. And Also Imbogan also was friendly at the enemies team (he was in my team) today and i dont really like it.

    I feel you with the whole teaming thing, if I'm playing defense and someone from the opposing team wants to just hangout in the flag room I always kill them. Idc if they're in a call or whatever, you're a useless piece of space and a free kill for me.

    Rom_Knight, I am sorry that I gave the impression that I wasn't helping you but here's the catch: I was trying to recover the flag as quickly as possible so you could captir the falg. Without our falg being home no one can captir. I am truly sorry ;((
