    It's obvious that the /tpyes macros and such within labymod are bannable and I can see why. However are macros such as /play warz 'x' bannable also? for example binding Numpad 1, 2, 4, and 5 to the corresponding '/play warz' for ease of access?

    I think that doesn't really give you any type of advantage - generally, LabyMod chat macros are more than frowned upon, so I'd wait for a higher staff member to confirm that you may use it.

    I'm not using it for tpyes macros, just server switching, as my mouse only has two buttons to macro with and one of them is occupied by my tpyes macro

    I honestly don't see that as a big problem. There's is no advantage over players.

    If it's only used for entering/exiting a server - although I can see an advantage there on servers such as KitBrawl, since you can log much faster.

    It's for WarZ, for switching servers, that's how you find fights, it poses no advantage over the other player, although I've seen people get banned for using LabyMod to check their /ping with a button.

    Pressing a single numpad button is more efficient that typing /play warz 'x'

    Brawl would be a better place with a screenshare protocol, cut down xraying and macroing by a tonne..

    According to some staff the only reason screensharing isn't allowed is because putty thinks it's an ''invasion of privacy'' although all they are doing is going through minecraft related files, so I don't know where the breach of privacy even comes from.

    The reason why screen sharing is a tough thing is because people use ghost clients.But you can't go snooping in peoples files.

    To go into people's files you need to go through their computer and not everyone has their own computer. Some people have personal photos/info on there, also it could be a shared(family computer).

    If any server told me they'd either screenshare or ban me, I'd chose the ban. Even if it was Brawl. The vast majority of screenshares I've seen do not involve mods just looking through Minecraft folders - they can go through all sorts of files (and need to in order to detect any decent ghost client) and it's a massive invasion of privacy.

    Not to mention it doesn't even work. We screenshared an ex-JMod and went through every single file on his computer, yet was still able to get away with using Vape. This guy has admitted to hacking before, and yet with a huge screenshare we weren't able to find anything.

    Macros are easy to detect and player xray is a little bit harder to detect, but you can still detect it after just one fight.

    tl;dr we're not screensharing, stop asking. :v

    @SoCool21 I've screenshared well over 1000 people as I've been staff on Faithful, Pulse, Purge, Urban etc, and never have I once opened a photo or went through personal files, there is literally no issue.
