    CTF Map Submission
    Heads up, this was a really quick rework, but tried to make the changes significant. I still really like the concept of this map and wanted to give it a go.

    Chernobyl
    Map ID: 382785
    Style: Ruins

    Regarding lag:

    - Removed over 90% of barriers and vines
    In an attempt to shrink the map:
    - Reduced map length by over 30 blocks and reduced map width by at least 12 blocks by incremental adjustments
    - Disabled OP roof area by filling in all dropdowns
    - Removed second floor of building in front of main building
    - Shrunk the building interior by filling in dead space
    Also:
    - Moved spawn to get rid of fall damage
    - Decluttered and found paths
    - Simplified the aesthetic to make more pvp friendly
    - Improved navigation between levels.

    Left vs Right, size reduction preview before map flip

    Map joined at single road instead of double road. Midfield reduced in size. Roads recolored for better separation from buildings.

    Spawn lowered with double exits.

    Shorter hallways, less dead space, raised ceilings so players don't hit decor.

    Looks very nice, another great map Xelasi! I'll make sure to check it out and see if I find anything to improve.

    Is there a way to create custom events like in Split Second Velocity? I'd love to see an explosion or some green radioactive material spread around :wink:

    I'm trying lol. I think I could move the entire flagroom forward a few more blocks and nuke that little hallway.

    Do you remember any other gameplay issues from when we were testing it last time?

    Not that I really know of. How did you fix the barrier problem?

    Right now it's only 1-thick and only as high as pearls can reach, so I want to see what happens. In other areas I replaced the barrier with glass or solid block.

    Also: I managed to kill the spawnbox when flipped the map somehow. Could you copy yours back over? Lol.

    I probably won't have time to get online today. I suggest just getting another copy of the map.
