Hey everyone! Yes, it's time for another UHC Event. The last big CTF UHC was over a year ago and over the time, more and more people have been asking for another edition. Well, here we are. Together with SpookyMC, we are bringing you another edition of the popluar CTF UHCs. Without them, this wouldn't happen, big shoutout! <3

So, what is UHC?
UHC, Also known as Ultra hardcore, is a popular gamemode from YouTube.
Teams of 3 players spawn in a big arena, where they have to fight, get resources, and survive. There's a twist though; regeneration from food is disabled. The only way of regenerating is by making golden apples. Once you die, you are out, and you will be put into Spectator mode.
Beware! The biggest enemy of all players is the border. It will be slowly shrinking. Last time, it was more about running from the border than actually UHC. We have solutions for this, but the border will still shrink.

If you kill a player, you will get his head. If you get 8 golden ingots to cover around the player head, you get a golden apple as well!

It is highly recommended that a team has some subs in case of emergency. You can sub in at any time, however the newly subbed-in player will be given the same health level as the subbed-out player.
If you would like to spectate this event, please leave a post on this thread with your IGN.

Now that everybody uses Discord (heck we had a Skype chat last time), we made a Discord server for all teams and specs. This allows us to have a central spec call that everybody can access and to have everybody in one place for important information related to the UHC. Furthermore, every team will get their individual voicechannel.

When is this going to happen?
Saturday, 22nd of July at 2PM EST/7PM GMT.
UHCs can take a long time (3+ hours). If you don't believe me, check out the spoiler down below with the previous UHCs. Please be prepared to stay as long as possible.

Rules:

  • First of all, use common sense. Do not hack/try to glitch through the world border.
  • Once you die, please do not use your spectator mode to help your team. I have a way of checking this, don't try it.
  • Notch Apples are disabled.
  • If you find any kind of glitch/bug, do not try to abuse it. Instead, report it to me.
  • Remember, don't try to cross the border. You will take damage.
  • Friendly fire is NOT enabled.
  • Remember, keep on moving, don't stay at one place for too long.
  • We are doing this to have fun. No flame in the chat. If this happens, your team will get punished.
  • Towering & underground bases are NOT allowed. If you want to set up a base, it must be visible, and touching the ground.
  • If the game gets into a stalemate where none of the teams are moving and are in mines, moderators can call for the end of strip-mining. This means all teams will be ruled to move out of mines. If teams will not obey this rule, they will be forcibly teleported out.
  • No cross teaming with other teams

Remember, if you break any of these rules, you will be punished, with a possibility of getting your WHOLE TEAM disqualified. And we don't want that.
