    I was thinking that upon sending a friend request to an online player, that recipient should receive a message like:

    ---------------------------------------------------------
    [sending player] has sent you a friend request!
    Click here to accept!
    ---------------------------------------------------------

    This way players that do not know about or do not check their friends list can make more Brawl friends. I think this would help Brawl since Brawl is friendlier than other servers and players tend to come on more often to see if their good Brawl friends are on and a better way to make these good friends would be to display friend requests in chat so players can see when someone wants to be friends with them.

    Good ideas from both posts. I've always found myself forgetting to check /friends and this would be a good solution.

    Another think I just thought of, add this when players join along with @SoCool21's idea:

    I think it's a good idea, however people could friend you then unfriend you and friend you again. They could just spam you with requests basically. I could imagine this being very annoying on WarZ, where you often friend and unfriend people too team.

    At peak times on a weekend, I'll get over a page of online friends. This'd be too much to display all at once, IMO.

    Sounds like a pretty good idea if you are forgetful to check friend requests. Personally I would like this to be added. Also, as other people have already stated above, it would probably be a good idea to have the option to disable it if you so desire. :smile:

    For those of us who know that we won't be getting any friend requests.. ;(

    But really, the idea makes it better than having to always check for friend requests, especially if you have more than one page of friends. +1
