How to not make maps

    This is fking rediculous, 2/3rds of the map is buildblocked, you can only build in the middle, where its 100% useless... The furthest you can teleport somebody is like .... 15 meters? (from sponge landing to furthest build location closest to enemy flag)
    Building should be mostly open except for around the flag, and maybe some few and far between locations...

    Most maps are made for a possible shot in an official match, in which engineer / necro / dwarf are mostly banned. Meaning that making spots for the classes is useless hence it wouldn't be allowed in pretty much all cases.

    Then why the F is this map availible in normal non MATCH games!?!

    While restrictions are necessary, I do believe this map has too much and it should be reduced @Xelasi. You should not be prevented from playing 2 classes.

    I personally don't play engineer or necro often, so I was unaware of this issue.

    Please post screenshots of map issues
    here in the map feedback thread. When we don't get feedback we can't fix map problems, so anything helps.

    as someone who does... too many building restrictions in useful areas (i.e. near flag, at choke points, etc.) makes classes like necro way less useful than they could be. beacons are the only decent way to control mobs and when you're forced to place the spawner in open areas it either 1) ends up being too far away from the action to do anything, 2) area is so open mobs can't catch someone out let alone corner them (people just run around your mobs), or 3) necro and mobs get destroyed by ranged classes (archer, mage, pyro) because area is so open & hard to defend

    all this goes back to the main problem of necro being a short ranged, camping class, and it needing a rework. but i do think there's a point when restrictions go too far
