Idea Petition to remove the Skyworlds remakes, they suck.

There has been a poll already, when map testing was active. The Skyworlds reworks were voted to be in the rotation, if the community didn't like them they never would have been in rotation in the first place.

 

Basically what unifier said. I do want to add that I would like less multiples of maps (only 1 skyworlds, only 1 blackout) as long as there are no major differences between the maps. But I do like the new skyworlds (and skytown as well) .

 

I, personally, like the new Skyworlds remake and Skytown. Like Uni said, if they were so disliked they wouldn't have been voted in by the community.

 

Everyone had a chance to vote? I believe Democracy means that the people decides, people = community and community clearly voted the maps through.

 

You made the poll options kind of unfair... 6/7 of the options root for removing the maps while the 1/7 forces you to "admit" that your opinion sucks. Sounds slightly biased?

Anyway, the maps aren't so bad. Maybe one version would be better than 2 (or 3 if skytown counts) but they have better gameplay than beaver creek at least.

Honestly, instead of removing them I think that the probabilities of them being picked are altered; ie all the skyworlds together should have an equal chance to play as a singleton map like Geo. That way it's less likely to get inundated with the same map over and over. Just my 2 cents.

 

Personally, I think skytown has some pretty glaring gameplay issues. I don't know how I feel about one map having three variations on live (throwback to blackout/whiteout/blackout x). One of the versions is definitely better than one of the others, the worst of the three should be removed imo.

 

I agree with what some other people said, just have one version of each map in rotation. Best Skyworlds version? Not Skytown, or the original. The new one. I think it's XI or something. (Ya know, the one with the spawn that makes you go out the wrong entrance every time you respawn?)

 

How did you get XI... It's VI. I don't think any map has 11 versions made of it. Except Blackout perhaps? But I don't think that X stands for 10 does it?
