    Anyway, pretty good idea. Only problem I see is pure element is going to be pretty op in the hands of a god elf. I saw people effectively using the pure element to recover the other day and I feel like this buff would basically be putting close to the power of a close range headshot. Sure it's fully drawn back, but you have that 1 miss cushion and it's 6 hearts (or 8?) of true damage which you can repeatedly string together. It's close to frenzy's damage except you can do it from any range (so people can't chase you away in time) and there isn't really any cooldown. Spam this from a peek-hole or somewhere that people can't reach you and into a crowded place to get some bogus kills. Great idea, but I can see this ability becoming a little op. Maybe nerf the true damage or give it a cooldown at least.

    No it doesn't. Consecutive elf arrows are easier to dodge than Archer arrows due to lack of cc (knockback). Also you have time to steak through damage from pure shots

    So? Elfs can't spam elements too much otherwise they run out of arrows and have to wait for them to regen.

    Yeah in a game where Chemist can 1v10 and still capture the flag, where buffed Heavy can mow down any defense, where Dwarf and Engineer exist, and where Mage can beat an entire team if they are good enough with landing spells we wouldn't want anything that could potentially be OP. That would be unfair.

    that said... +0 for the idea. I'd like to see Elf be more of a ranged support instead of a damage dealer and I'm not sure if this takes Elf too far down that path.

    Isn't this already implemented?
    From what I understand, this "rework" makes the first pure shot remains regular damage and then the shot after pure. If you land that, then another one is pure.
    Right now in-game, every shot after the first is pure assuming you land all of them. It's clear to see when shooting in a crowd of defenders.

    Other than that, pure element is fine. High risk high reward.

    Pure element is the only element that doesn't need major changes imo. It's insanely strong if you get good with it, the only drawback being the fact that damage timers can mess up your arrows connecting if a player is being hit.

    It's not a small change though. It's something that will be too strong imo. Elf is already pretty damn strong, the biggest issue is the skill cap.

    Buffing a class because it has high skill cap should happen because not everyone is going to instantly become good at the game and still want to enjoy the classes too.

    Changing a class so that the same skill cap is achievable but is slightly easier/more practical to reach should be the goal.

    You balance a class around the skillceiling or close to it, not around the average brawl randie.
