Environmental Kills Update

    These changes are now live on all CTF server!
    The goal of this change:
    Allow environmental kills to count towards player stats.

    What changed?
    Void, fall damage, and fire tick kills now all count towards player stats!

    Mage lightning, Elf wind element, Elf earth element and Necro mobs now also record void kills.

    Kills are also now given to the last player that hit someone before they respawn on non full health.

    Thank you to @chickenputty for taking time to code this for us^^.

    Flag carrier headshots were something that was actually brought up recently but isn't currently tracked. Is this something the community wants tracked?

    Carrier kills are really the only stat that matter to an archer competitively, be a good idea to start tracking it

    Probably not a good spot to put it, but you did mention that kills count as well when someone respawns without full health when you deal damage towards them. On that note, not sure if this is intentional or a bug, but sometimes when I or another person heals up to full health to respawn, you still end up dying. Any reason behind this?

    Intentional for players missing health, you sure it's happening on full hp?

    I'm 100% positive it happens at full health. Sometimes when I'm down, let's say 4 hearts, I would steak which should bring me back to full hp, but then I'm able to steak again at full health. I should be at full health from the first steak, so I have no idea why I'm able to do it again. I'd assume I'm at full hp, so I'd respawn, but only to see death q:

    Yes. I can confirm because this happens to me too. I refill my health completely and still die when respawning. I don't know the full details to this but I've just gotten used to just dying with full health

    That's likely because you're missing health that's less than half a heart, which means it wouldn't display on your hearts. You could be down, for example, .3 hearts and it wouldn't show on your screen.
