Adding The Legacy Server To The Compass

Firstly, MinecraftParty is more popular than War 2.0. War 2.0 hardly goes past 50 players. Brawl gets around 200-400 players during peak times from what I've noticed. While it certainly is a decent amount, 1/4 - 1/8 of the player base isn't a huge thing to rely on. Even at night, when War 2.0 has zero players, MinecraftParty and other games still have players. If this server "pretty much relies" on War 2.0, a game that consistently has 0-5 players on during off hours, Brawl is screwed. It would be more accurate to say that War 2.0 is a newer iteration of a gamemode that Brawl is known for, and if attention were to be drawn away from it, this server would lose a better version of one of it's defining games, which would likely not have good results.

Secondly, I'd really like to be able to enjoy the $100 I spent on Legacy War by purchasing all of the donator guns, items, and perks. I even have Stopping Power and Juggernaut, which became unavailable a while before the other ones, not that they have much usage. However, while I'd love to keep this, I can't say that I would ever play legacy war. Even though I have strong feelings about maintaining access to what I've paid for, I simply don't think it's pratical to keep it up. The real question shouldn't be how popular it is, but is it worth the money that's being paid to keep up the extra server up every month? Do we really need to pay for the novelty of it? I personally don't think so.

TL;DR - I think Legacy War should be taken down due to how impractical it is to pay for an extra novelty server, regardless of the popularity of it or how it might affect War 2.0.

 

I've seen a lot of people say how they want refunds and stuff about their legacy items (not saying you're doing so) but theres no point at all, I remember buying minigun, scav, ray and c4 when i was 10, 3 years ago. 2 years of my life i've been able to play with those items and to have a refund after that time is ridiculous.

 

Yeah, I was just explaining how even though I feel that way about my donator items, I still think Legacy War should be removed.

100% agree. I miss playing War 1... it’s a burden that now no one plays it. Like @SweetCookiie doesn’t play war 2.0 it is sad that some war 1 players don’t play anymore. Please add to the compass would make War 1.0 have at least a couple of people a day. +1

 

make sure its in the opposite corner of the 2.0 access because we dont want anyone who isnt searching for legacy on purpose to stumble on it

 

I think its required for them to because of the people who bought items and perks. If they find out 1.0 was lo longer here they would go bonkers.

Anyways I think doing /legacy is fine because as @SoCool21 said Brawl's existence relies on War 2.0.

 

Like I said earlier, is it practical enough to pay for the server on a monthly basis for nostalgia and novelty?
